Shade's P.O.V.
She looks at me. I put my hands on the glass. She puts her hands on mine. "Tails misses you Cosmo. No one can bring you up in front of him without him sobbing. Even Cream can't help him and they're married. I always wanted to meet you. You're a hero you know. Everyone calls your sacrafice magnificent." I say in awe. Her eyes soften. "You're Shade. Amy and Shadow's son. I'm glad Tails is happy with Cream." she says thoughtfully. "Co-Cosmo?" Daren asks. She giggles. "Hello Daren." she says with a wave. "She looks healed Daren." Scourge says. "I am." she confirms. "Let's get her out." Eggman says as he walks to the controls. "I would like that very much. Thank you." she says with a polite nod. Eggman pushes a button and the tube opens. She falls but I catch her bridal style. I set her down and she sways. "Th-thank you." she says politely. Daren rushes to her and embraces her. He picks her up and spins around. She giggles in delight. "Hello old friend." she says happily. "Old friend?" I ask. "Before I met the gang, Daren was my friend." she explains. The alarm goes off. "They're here!" Eggman exclaims. He runs to the first girl as she looks down at him and weakly moves her hand to the tube as he places his hand on hers. "It's... okay..." she says weakly. A tear rolls down his face. I grit my teeth. "No! I won't let this happen! But I'm gonna need Cosmo." I say determindly. Daren seems hesitant. Cosmo nods. I see Mephiles has gone to the braided quills hedgehog and Scourge's gone to the red hedgehog. Cosmo and I run to the entrence. "Let's do this." I say and she nods. Here goes nothing.
