Chrollo:

-It's quite often that your rather bored and disinterested in the troupe's spare time
-Between jobs you and Chrollo are both rather anti-social people
-So while he finds himself content reading his hundreds of books
-You can only wonder and marvel at your collection of oddities and treasures for so long before becoming listless
-Which often leads you to wishing to spend more time doing something with Chrollo
-Rather than simply existing in the same room as him while he reads
-You've come up with every excuse to talk to him at this point
-And he never seems to be the one to approach you first
-Something you've grown rather irritated with
-And so one evening nearly a week and a half after your last job you found Chrollo in his study
-Hunched over a book per usual too unbothered to look up from its pages to acknowledge your entry
-And for a while you only stood their in the door expecting him to greet you
-Or at the very least nod in your direction
-Yet one minute turned into two and by three you were tired of being ignored
-And so you knocked clearing your throat to convey that you expected him to greet you
- "I have better things to do than entertain your whims (u)" Chrollo sighed in mild annoyance flipping to the next page of his book
-And you stood their for a moment longer in near disbelief
-"Chrollo," you scorned "I'm not asking for you to put on a puppet show for me for gods sake! words You snapped in frustration
-"I just want your company..?" You told him dejected by his nonchalance
-"I'm in no need of company at the moment, you're being a bother" He told you snapping his book shut
-Finally looking at you for the first time since you'd entered his study
-"Pester someone who isn't busy" He insisted and you blinked at him for a moment
-Before swallowing your pride spinning on your heel and marching out of his study slamming the door behind you shut
-So forcefully that it rocked on its hinges and knocked a frame off the wall as you left
-And you took Chrollo's advice as you could tell when you weren't wanted
-So you dialed Pakunoda
-And so two days later when Chrollo found himself in a better mood and seeking your presence
-He wondered where you were...? Or even when he'd seen you last now that he thought of it...?
-And it struck him suddenly that he hadn't seen or heard from you since he'd snapped at you
-And he proceeded to scour the house/museum for you until he found an angrily scribbled note:
-"With Paku, don't bother" Left on the door
-And Chrollo knew he had some apologizing to do
-Though when he'd found you he discovered you'd called for an emergency girls weekend
-Evident by you, Pakunoda, Machi, and Shizuku all having your hair and nails done
-Watching vintage rom-coms with popcorn buckets on beanbags at Machi's flat
-When the door rang Paku was the one to answer and she stood their for a moment blocking the entry in contemplation
-"Girls, bathroom break" Paku told the others as she waved Chrollo in behind her
-As she, Shizuku, and Machi all went off to another room to give you and Chrollo some space
-And it was silent for a long while til Chrollo spoke up
-'I'm sorry..." Chrollo whispered under his breath as he knelt down infront of your neon pink beanbag
-Though you didn't seem to care for such a small apology as you simply waited for him to go on
-"I'm sorry" he repeated with more urgency this time "I didn't mean it love..."
- "But you did" You interjected with your voice cracking and raising in pitch
-"You did Chrollo, you meant it, what you said," You reminded him vehemently
- "Maybe you regret it now but you meant it in the moment," You insisted sharply
-"Am I not worth spending time with...?" You asked blinking back tears in frustration
-And he smiled regretfully wiping the tears from the corners of your eyes
-"You're worth every minute, it's just... easy to loose track of what's important" Chrollo explained slowly
"I want to spend my time on earth with you," He assured you "If you'll let me..?"
-And you sat thier for a moment looking down at him knelt on the floor in front of your beanbag
-Popcorn all over the floor being crushed under his knees
-"Alright... then right now I want you to spend your time with me watching these cheesy movies" You insisted
-And he nodded pulling over a bright purple beanbag to sit beside you
-"May I suggest some hallmark movies then?"
