Betty was bored. Sure she loved all her classes; Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, History of Magic, Astronomy, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Art, Care Of Magical Creatures, Divination, and Arithmancy, however, she missed her Marauders. The boys decided to take Muggle Studies, Ancient Runes, and Care of magical creatures, saying they were hopeless at the other electives, and she didn't really know anybody else in her divination Class, Lily thought it to be stupid, Jasmine only took it to try and get closer to Preston, Marlene and Emmeline took it to try and prove they'd last forever, and her divination teacher was late.
Alice, Frank Lily, Annemarie, Ebony, and Peter all took Ancient Runes Muggle Studies. Marlene and Emmeline took Muggle studies and Ancient Runes, meaning the only elective she had with the others was Care of Magical creatures which they all took. The Elective classes were always mixed with different houses, unlike the mainstream classes which were two houses put together.
Betelguese had:
Astronomy with the Slytherins
Charms with the Gryffindors
Defense Against the Dark Arts with Gryffindor
Herbology with Ravenclaws
History of Magic with Slytherin
Potions with Gryffindor
Transfiguration with GryffindorShe didn't know everybody in her year level, she knew most, most of the time people approached her first, then just never really left, she never went out of her way to make friends unless someone else did first, not very Hufflepuff of her she knew. That's why currently she was sitting with Preston, Jackson, and Lucas. Jackson and Lucas were both pureblood Slytherins, however, they weren't jerks, their family weren't that well known and they weren't complete jerks.
"Jackyyy" Betty whined.
"No."
"Luuucc-"
"No"
"PRESS-"
"What Betty? Is it your goal to try and drive us into insanity?" Preston asked patiently his eyebrows raised ever so slightly. Betty smirked.
"I'm bored." The boys rolled their eyes at Betty,
"Oh dear, whatever shall we do your majesty?" Jackson asked sarcastically. "Oh wait, nothing cus your not a princess, and you're being annoying."
Lucas smirked at his boyfriend while raised her eyebrows at the raven-haired Slytherin, sending a silent stinging hex at him, making him send one back and Preston to roll his eyes. The Hufflepuff and Slytherin continued to send harmless hex's at each other while Preston was challenging Lucas to draw different things, Marlene and Emmiline were snogging shamelessly in the back corner. 'Useless lesbians' Betty thought to herself, huffing as she got hit with a spell that made her hair frizz up.
"dick." She muttered, sending a spell causing the Slytherins skin to turn different colors of the rainbow.
Before Jackson could react, their Transfiguration teacher, Professor Rumblehorn stumbled in, muttering something about peeves being a bad energy and messing up her rituals. Professor Rumblehorn was a tall bulky lady with masculine features she tried to hide with extra-feminine outfits and hairstyles, she often got off-topic and would go from one subject to the next, it was no questioning she was a great seerer, her focus was just slightly off sometimes. Rumblehorn scanned the classroom then sighed, sending a spell to separate Marlene and Emmaline, who were both very flushed, and undoing the hexes Jackson and Betty had been throwing at each other. Betty loved Professor Rumblehorn, she always believed in her students and would often let her off of doing work if it was a bad day for Betty.
"Right class, apologies, Peeves is being a right pain, I tried to do my ritual three times! Of course, the little bastard kept messing it up! Today we're going to be attempting the ritual for remembering our dreams and making them more vivid, as everybody knows dreams are the universe's ways of attempting to tell us stuff! Now for this we will need our crystals, herbs and our general Ritual stuff, you've all been in my class long enough to know what that is and if you're new then well you should've seen me beforehand, nevermind my dearies, I laid a list of things needed for this ritual on your desk, now remember, rituals take a lot of magic, focus and can be quite exhausting, luckily this is a relatively simple one ..." Betty grinned as her teacher continued to ramble on.
She was finally home.

Betty rushed down the many stairs, attempting to look for the Marauders, it was finally lunchtime and it had been two periods that she hadn't seen her boys, and she wasn't too ashamed to admit to herself with Herbology she had been comparing the unruly messy leaves of the mandragoramas to James' hair, the way the leaves when in every direction no two mandragoramas' leaves went the same way reminded her of the chasers messy black hair. The Mandragormas was known for being hard to recognize as no two looked completely the same, the leaves go in every different direction, the way the leaves went was completely unpredictable, the only way to tell for sure was the little flowers blue, showing it was essentially the female mandrake, male mandrakes, or simpy mandrakes were much simpler to recognize.
Betty raced forward as she spotted Remus, walking with Sirius, their hands both lightly touching the others for a split second only to then pull away and repeat. The small girl leaped on Remus' back causing the Gryffindor to get the wind knocked out of him at the unexpected attack, Sirius simply barked his dog-like laugh and ruffled her hair. Betty placed a sloppy kiss on Remus' cheek knowing that annoyed the hell out of him. Remus groaned, unsecuring his arms from Betty's legs, Betty, of course, continued to cling on by her self, causing Remus to shake her off.
"You'd of thought, being sixteen, you'd of outgrown that silky," Remus said with a deadpan expression, Betty giggled and shook her head.
"Come on! I want carrot cake! I'm CRAVING cakes! let's go!" The blonde grabbed the boy's hands and the three dashed to the kitchens, the boys shaking their heads in amusement at the girl.

"Hey Betty," James said beaming as he saw his favorite Hufflepuff arrive.
Betty beamed back at the raven-haired teen and pounced on him, wrapping her scrawny arms around his neck and landing awkwardly in his lap. James spluttered, Betty's body slightly knocking the wind out of him, the petite girl only laughed in response and sat her body upright so she was sitting comfortably in James' lap. Sirius and Remus laughed at the pair, sitting down opposite of the two, their hands interlinked underneath the table, James wrapped his arms around Betty's waist resting his head on her shoulder. further up the table was Lily and her friends, Lily sitting on Ebony's lap as she did her girlfriend's hair in pigtail braids, Annemarie, Marlene, Emmeline, Alice and frank sitting with the couple, the group were laughing and seemingly making fun of the couples of the group (Lily and Ebony, Alice and Frank.)
"Do they have Carrot cake!? Ooh with the yummy icing! Seriously the house-elves cakes are the best!" Remus rolled his eyes at Betty's ramblings and passed the blonde a piece of her favorite cake, said blonde jumped up and down, as best she could on James' lap and clapped excitedly. "Thanks Moony! You're the best!" Ignoring James' and Sirius' indignant 'heys!' Betty blew Remus a kiss.
'Uh-huh, sure" Remus replied sarcastically rolling his eyes, grinning.
Betty laughed as the group then started to get into an argument over who was, in fact, the best. Yeah, she was home.
A/N- Sorry for the crappy late chapter! I hope you all enjoy! *mwahs*
