🏝️Chapter X: An All A-shore Rescue!🦁

(Yo-ho my pirates, dudes and other adventurers- ready to set foot on dry land once more? With the now kidnapped teens: Jim and Marigold currently at the mercy of Long John Silver and his gang of theives- Captain Smollett, Gonzo, Rizzo and Professor Snowflake make haste from the safety of their fair ship, The Hispaniola to the sandy shores of Treasure Island. It's now a race to the rescue with our group of brave-ish souls bound to save Marigold and Jim- But they have some of their own problems to handel first. So I don't OWN the movie or the characters for any copyright laws- So many people point that out now as a writter I make sure not to put credit where credit is due. I DO own Marigold and Snowflake though. As usual- ENJOY THE CHAPTER!!)

(PS. - I was trying to make a pun there- All A-shore, like "It's an all sure" like everything will be okay and the rescue will go according to plan and whatnot. When if anyone has seen the films. Some plans go astray. XD)

(Marigold's P.O.V)

Unkowngly at the time the good Captain Smollett along with Gonzo, Rizzo and Snowflake had finally made their way off the boat just as the ship had been taken over by the remainning pirates Long John had left to basically set a trap to corner me and in Jim into becoming his prisoners. Thankfully the 4 other most loyal people I've come to known on this chaotic voyage had soon arrived ashore on the other side of the beach, not too far from where the bad guys had landed after taking us. Stopping to the boat behind him, Smollett took a lantern in hand and began to make their way into the jungles of the island. With the sun down and night as their only obstacle with little light they had, they simply had to move fast-- with no time to waste they went on further and further into the dank wet forest of trees. They searched high and low for any clues as to where me and Jim had gone. But there just no such luck yet to be discovered nor could they hear any sounds of a pirate crew not too far yonder from the distance they walked.

But still they refused to leave us behind and more determined they were as if they were crazy even! The 4 brave souls soon came to stop as they had no sign of anyone just yet.

"Well it's too dark to do anything now." Captain Smollett reasoned simply as they came to a stop knowing it would be a waste of energy which they needed in order to save those who were currently in trouble. Placing down the lantern as they turned around to face his men.

"-Will camp here and wait for first light." He says, poor Rizzo wasn't doing so hot himself as he was shaking all the way, still remembering why they came ashore to begin with- it felt like this nightmare was never gonna end with only hours of finding out a murderous gang of blood thirsty thevies had been aboard our fine vessel and one em was the most dangerous of all.

He just could not stop shivering with more than fright.

"Oh. Hey, Rizzo, relax! Don't be so afraid." Gonzo reassured his poorly freaked out friend.

"Oooh I've gone WAY beyond afraid. Right now I'm somewhere between bed wetting and a near death experience!" Rizzo told him shaking like a leaf in the autumn season. Seeing one of his poor companions about to pass out from terror that ran through his blood. "Well, just take deep breaths and try thinkin' positive thoughts that's what Marigold told me when I would be stressed out on a job." Rizzo only nods feeling the hairs stand upward on the back of his neck as he wondered outloud to a certain someone- "I wish Marigold was here, she'd know how handel this more than anyone I'd know and she's toughest of them all!"
