Always You [Losers Club]

Chapter Three

Stan's POV

I had walked up to two boys I'd seen in the park after my mommy had encouraged me to go make some friends. They seemed nice enough.

Eddie had introduced them and asked me if I wanted to play, which I happily replied with, sure.

We went off and played tag... "you're it!" Eddie called tapping my shoulder and running away.

"Hey, get back here!" I called after him laughing

We played hide and seek... "eight... nine... ten! Ready or not here I come!" Richie called slowly lurking around trying to spot us.

He had spotted Eddie trying to hide behind the slide, "found you!" Richie giggled jumping up and down a little.

"Shoot." Eddie mumbled crossing his arms grumpily.

And adventurers... "Pip pip and talley ho my good fellows." Richie said in a British accent, striking a pose.

Eddie and I shook our heads smiling, "you're such a dork." I commented.

Eddie laughed as Richie dramatically fell to the floor

It took a long time and lots of laughing, but it was the best time I've had in a while.

Eventually, about an hour later, it was time to go, "bye bye." I said waving to them as my dad grabbed my hand and led me to our car.

"Bye bye." They waved back.

No Ones POV

Stan had left and the two boys looked at each other almost sadly, "do you want to ask if we could go home?" Eddie asked.

Richie nodded, "sure."

Eddie and Richie quickly ran up to Mrs. Kaspbrak, who was reading some knitting magazine.

"Mommy, can we go home." Sonia furrowed her eyebrows.

"If youd like... are you feeling okay Eddie bear?" She asked feeling his forehead.

Eddie gently moved her hand, "I'm fine mommy."

Sonia nodded, "okay."

They got their stuff, just some juice boxes and sunscreen, all packed up and went to the car to go home.

"Psst- Eddie, you're my bestfriend." Richie whispered in the car with a soft giggle.

Eddie held back a laugh, "I'm your only friend silly." He whispered back.

Richie dramatically brought a hand to his forehead and putting on a fake pout, "what about Stanley?" He smiled.

"You just met him! He isnt your friend just yet." Eddie chuckled.

Sonia smiled hearing their conversation and shook her head, "Richie, after we get to our house, we should get you ready to go home."

Eddie sadly looked over to Richie, "bu-but mommy, hes my bestfriend."

Sonia chuckled, "honey, in your own words, you just met him, he isnt your bestfriend yet." She said knowing the ups and downs of growing up and growing apart.

Eddie sighed, "but he is my bestfriend... see hes the best and hes my friend."

Sonia just smiled, "okay sweetie."

They pulled into the driveway, Sonia grabbed the juices and sunscreen as the boys unbuckled and ran into the house.

"We can play everyday and color together and have sleepovers-" Richie rambled on.
