I opened my eyes to see the creature laying dead on the ground. I gasped when I saw an arrow on it's head. My eyes wandered around to see a girl with straight auburn hair,and a guy with brown hair. The guy was fighting with it's sword while the girl was shooting arrows.

I stood up and watched them kill the heartless beasts,A creature came jumping towards me. I backed off and kicked it,I managed to kicked it away but I didn't killed it. It's eyes glowed red,it hissed annoyingly and once again..jumped towards me. I let out a shriek and cowardly backed away.

The boy noticed me,he headed straight towards me. Knocking down all the centipedes coming towards him. He slayed the centipede with his sword and glared at me,the girl finished off the other centipedes.

She then light up a torch and stared at me. I took a better sight of their faces. The boy has green eyes while the girl has brown eyes,a tad shorter than the boy.

"Who are you? And what brings you here? In our cave?" The girl asked,while the boy pointed his sword towards me.

"Uh..um...I'm Scarlet Higgins,and I fell down this hole.." I stuttered a bit and gulped.

The girl smiled and motions the boy to lower his sword,the boy nodded and lowered his sword. I looked at them and back away slowly.

"W-who are you?" I finally asked. She grinned and handed the torch to the boy.

"I'm Rianna..I'm an elf." Rianna said,staring at me. I examined her features,she has pointy ears which resembles an elf. The boy stand tall,he look so proud of himself as Rianna sighed.

"I'm Rvoyn..(Ree-Voyn) I'am a skinchanger.." He said,and smiled at himself. Skinchanger?

"What is a skin changer?" I asked,staring at them.

"Skin changers are like shape shifters..We change into a form of an animal.." He explained,shrugging a little. That reminds me of the foul creatures,they are laying on the ground. Lifeless..

"What are thoose?" I asked.

"Scolopendra.." Rianna said,with a cold voice. "We must proceed towards upper ground..we don't know how many creatures live here. Come with us if you want." She quickly said,walking away. Rvoyn smiled and followed her,I quickly followed them.

"So..what form of an animal a-" I was about to continue my sentence when Rvoyn interrupted me.

"I transform into a dragon and a black wolf." He said and I gasped. Rianna noticed us,she abruptly halted.

I stopped and stared at her,I want to ask her why did she stopped but Rvoyn asked her first.

"Why did you stop?" Rvoyn asked,going towards her. Rianna tensed and immediately pulled out her bow and arrow.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Orcs nearby.." Rianna said,her eyes glowing. Rvoyn smelled like he is a dog,he let out a growl which made me flinch.

I saw him turning black,his teeth became fangs. He grew fur and his ears turn pointy. He grew a tail,I then realized he transformed into a wolf.

I gasped in surprise and backed away,Rianna must be used to this cause she didn't flinch.

"Are you scared of me now?" He growled. I nodded and went beside Rianna.

"Quick,we need to go ride Rvoyn..We don't have any choice..we can't run because they will outrun us.." Rianna said and hopped on Rvoyn's back. I hopped on too,clutching Rianna's cloak.

"Hold on..." Rianna said then Rvoyn sped through the cave. I saw an opening through the cave,which means the way out.

Rvoyn ran quickly out the cave,I can hear some growls and inhuman yells behind us. The orcs..

"Rvoyn! Can you pick up the speed?" Rianna asked,looking back. I can see her eyes,her eyes held fear and anger.

"I'm trying!" Rvoyn growled,an arrow flew past me..almost hitting me,another one flew dangerously close my head. I shrieked and looked back,An orc was pointing its arrow at me. I gasped and tugged on Rianna.

"Rvoyn! The orc is pointing its arrow at me!" I yelled and a gust of air whipped. Undreadable pain shot through my shoulder,it appears that I dodged mistakenly. The arrow hit my shoulder and it really hurts.

I cried in pain and black spot invaded my vision,I heard Rianna yelling something. My vision become blurry and the pain in my shoulder increased. I tried to open my eyelids,afraid of what will happen if I faint.

Suddenly,darkness in vision came. Blinding me,I drew in my last breath and fell into Rianna's shoulder. Closing my eyes,feeling weak.

"Stay with us Scarlet..."

The last words I heard from Rianna...
