Sean left Mark's with a bitter taste in his mouth. He was left unsatisfied with much more questions than before. Dark seemed more hesitant than Anti to explain the situation, but not to describe this woman. Perhaps Anti made Dark swear not to talk about it? Or Dark is too respectful of Anti to say anything that he wasn't meant to?

"So, did ya get the answers you needed, McLoughlin?"

Sean almost swerved into the car next to him as the voice spoke up, now feeling like he just got five years of his life knocked off.

"Jesus Christ, Anti! Can't you clear your throat like a normal person?!" Sean swore, his breath having become heavy with an urgent need to calm down. He could hear the demon snicker in his mind. At least Anti was amused.

"Sean, dude, dickhead, do I seem like a normal person?" Sean rolled his eyes at Anti's remark, fear slowly starting to kick in as he realised that Anti knew he talked to Dark. The human's grip on the steering wheel tightened immensely and his fear was now thick. It felt as though the feeling was suffocating him. It was similar to a panic attack. Maybe it was a panic attack.

He was caught. For the second time today and both by demons. He was sure that if Dark hadn't of calmed down, he would've broken a few of Sean's bones. Dark might be a man of patience at times, but he was merciless. Even with his "friends."

Dark and Anti had been lounging around the small cottage for hours now, and Anti was beginning to get restless. Dark had grown irritated beyond belief at Anti's leg bouncing and finger tapping.

"Fine!" His voice just about shook the small building as he stood up. "If you're so bored, go explore the forest!"

Anti grinned like an excited child and dashed out of the cottage, his body glitching slightly like a broken computer. Adrenaline coursed through him at the new environment that may or may not have its own secrets to be revealed. The green demon was determined to explore it all.

Another hour passed of Anti wandering or flying around the aquatic themed landscape. As he approached the ocean in front of him, something caught the corner of his eye. He turned his head to the right and saw pink water connecting with the blue. Bewildered, and extremely curious, the young demon followed along the edge of the land to the pink.

A whole new landscape had appeared from seemingly nowhere. It was different shades of magenta and purple. Thinking that it might not be worth his time after all, he scoffed and turned away. Just before he could walk away, a laugh stopped him.

"Too girly for you?" The laugh turned into a voice, surprising Anti enough to turn back around. "Fair enough. Not many males in our species."

Anti raised an eyebrow, his eyes softly glowing as he looked upon the young lady in the water. Only her head was visible. The water and her wet hair covered her shoulders and collarbone. Her sparkling hazel eyes caught his attention, though. Enough for him to lower and sit on the soft grass by the edge.

"Uh, yeah.. Didn't think it was worth my time. Wanna prove me wrong?" He didn't know why he was asking her to do that. He didn't know her. She didn't know him. Something seemed different about her. Well, of course, she was a completely different species than him.

She smiled at him and shook her head as she chuckled. When she looked back at him, she started to move out of the water. To Anti's surprise, she was wearing clothes. A dark purple satin robe, with what seemed to be a dress underneath but Anti couldn't determine the colour. Her eyes shone lilac with curiosity and mischief. Things that made Anti grin wickedly and stand up in one swift movement. It would be a blur to the human eye. He was like an excitable pup waiting for its owner to go on a walk with him.

"What's your name, Greenie?" She asked, her hand slowly trailing down his chest and her nails gently tickling his nerves as she did. Anti shivered involuntarily at her actions, his glowing green eyes watching her as she circled around him slowly. His nerves was shot in this moment and all he could focus on was her. He didn't understand it. Something was urging him to her.

"Contrarium.. but you can call me Anti." For once, he pronounced the Latin word properly and it wasn't strained at all.

She hummed to herself. "I think I'll stick to Contrarium." Her voice left Anti feeling almost weak in the knees. He didn't understand why. It wasn't like him at all. Yet he wanted to hear her voice more.

"My name is Invidia. Nice to meet you, Contrarium." Anti loved the way she said his name. It was like hot butter melting onto toast. It made his eyes burn with how bright they were glowing and he couldn't help it.

She now stood in front of him, her feet in the water and she held her hand out to him.

"Let me change your mind." She paused, watching Anti hesitate. "Contrarium." This time, she said his name with more allure in her voice, enough for him to make up his mind.

He reached out to hold her hand, wanting to feel how soft her skin was, for once wanting to feel a physical connection with someone.

Before their hands could connect, black claws lashed out and caused Invidia's blood to drip into the water. A gasp escaped her and she pulled her hand back, holding it close to her chest.

"How dare you!" She seethed. Her skin was starting to turn black, beginning at her fingertips.

Dark stood in front of Anti. One foot in he water, and the other on land. He had pushed Anti back as well, causing him to hit a tree and snap out of his daze. The red demon was glaring at the woman who seemed to be transforming. Her silk looking cherry coloured her was turning white, as if she was aging. Dark knew exactly what she was, and he had to prove to Anti that he was his companion so that he could go along with his plan.

As Dark's claw disappeared back into his normal nails, the woman glanced at Anti who was resting on his knees and sank back into the water.

Anti looked out at the water for a few more minutes, feeling like he had lost something important. Feeling like a puzzle without a piece. Dark could see this and a snarl almost escaped him.

He sauntered over to Anti and picked him up by his shirt, forcing him to stand. He glared at the green demon, hate in his eyes.

"Never speak to that woman again. Better yet, don't even come onto this land again. We're leaving after tonight anyway." He let go after Anti nodded and teleported them back into the cottage. Dark was extremely stressed after that and hoped Anti would head his words.

The green demon woke up in Sean's bed, seemingly having taken control while Sean was asleep. He checked the clock that read 4:56 AM. He let out a deep sigh and got up, going into the bathroom.

After splashing some water on his face, he took some deep breaths and reminded himself that it wasn't real. That he'd never have to see her again.

"I should've killed her.."
