Chapter 8 (New home)

I walked down to the park where me and Evan were gonna meet, Before I had left, I had told Evan to come meet me so I could tell him something. I walked into the park and saw a figure of a tall man on his phone. "Hey ev-" The man's eyes shot to me, They were blue unlike evans brown eyes. That's not Evan! I began to tremble slightly with fear as the man walked towards me, But it subsided into relief when Tyler walked into the light. "What are you doing here?" I asked and he smiled. "Well, Evan didn't know if you were coming with Ryan and he wanted me to come get you, We have a new base in the forest." Tyler explained, We walked in silence up to tyler's car. "Hmmmm, That's weird." I said, Ready to tease him. "What's weird?" He asked and opened the car door. "Well, Craig's not with y-" "SHUT UP!" I started laughing as I got into the car, He shot me a glare before turning it on.

We drove into a forest, The car surprisingly could drive on the grass, But it seemed more like a hidden road because of the tire tracks dug into it. "Tyler, Where the fuck are we going?" I asked. He didn't respond and turned a corner, There was a cave, No way. "Here we are!" He announced, Motioning to the cave. I stared at it and then got out, IT. WAS. FREEZING. "You okay?" Tyler asked, Noticing me shaking from the cold. "Yeah, Just cold. Wait a minute, How are you-" I felt all the cold fade as something wrapped around me, I stopped shaking and looked over at tyler. He had given me his jacket, Only wearing a white T shirt. "Aren't you cold?" I asked and he shrugged. "I'm used to it." We walked up to the mouth of the cave, Noticing some people inside. "Hey guys!" I said, Waving. They all looked up from whatever they were doing and smiled at me. My eyes met with familiar brown ones again, My heart skipped a beat. "Hey ev-" I was engulfed in a hug before I could finish my sentence. "I'm so happy to see you." He said, Pulling away. "Me too." He smiled and craig came up to tyler, I chuckled seeing craig give him a kiss on the cheek. "Hey Y/N!" I heard a familiar voice call my name and I saw brock waving me over, Me and Evan walked over to see what he needed me for. "Since your not used to the cold yet, I made you a jacket." He handed me a VERY nice jacket and I put it on. "Holy- What did you used to make this?" I asked, Feeling very warm in the jacket. "Wolf fur, Its the only animal that has a thick enough coat." He replied and I smiled. "Wait a minute, Where's delirious?" He didn't...Use hi- "BOO!" My heart leapt to my throat, Delirious had scared me. "Don't do that!" I growled and he chuckled. At that moment, Nogla and Lui walked in, A bag slung over each of one their shoulders. Lui smiled at me and nogla was panting loudly. "H-Hey...Y/N." Nogla panted out and set his bag down on a table made from wood, I waved and stared at the bags. "What's in the bags?" I asked and delirious smiled. "It's dinner." I stared at him in shock and Evan scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, But we cook it! We're not actual wolves!" Brian spoke up and I shrugged. "Well, I suppose it would take a long time to go to the store." I pointed out. "Not just that, Somebody decided to kill a random person." Tyler added and we all looked at delirious. "What? He looked at me funny!" He protested, Glaring at all of us. We ate dinner and then sorted out where I would sleep, Tyler suggested in a spot by his bed, Well, Actually, That's what they all suggested, A spot by their personal bed or rather, Sleeping spot. They didn't have beds but they did have beds of grass and Heather, Which was shockingly soft. Evan finally decided that I was sleeping with him with MANY protests but somehow, He won. I laid down on the grassy spot and felt Evan lay down next to me, It was just like the first night I slept next to him, Except better.

"Y/N!" I heard someone whisper, I opened my eyes slowly and almost broke into tears, Ohm was crouched beside me. I sat up slowly and untangled Evans arms from my waist before hugging ohm. He hugged me tightly, Like it was the last time he would ever hold me in his arms again. "What's wrong?" I asked and ohm sighed. "I wanted you to know that I'm pretty sure luke's base is up here." He was worried, Very obvious by the look in his eyes. "R-Really?" I asked, Fear spreading through me. "Yeah, He's the leader of the most deadliest gangs in the city, Or was." He explained, Looking around at the guys who were snoring loudly. "But why-" Just then, Brock started shaking and jumping in his sleep. I shoved ohm away and he ran off just as Brock shot up, Brian, Who was sleeping beside him, Somehow, Did not wake up and continued laughing in his sleep. "Brock, Are you okay?" I asked and walked slowly towards him, I could see he was trembling. "Y-Yeah I'm fine." He replied and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. I sat down beside him and we started chatting to ease his adrenaline and trembling. "If I can ask, What was your dream about?" I asked, He sighed and looked over at Evan. "Something that... Happened in the past." He said quietly and I scooted closer like a kid listening to a good story. "Evan and delirious were fighting about something, Can't remember what for the life of me, I tried to stop them and they both got mad at me! Delirious told me I was just trying to show off for Brian and I told him that at least I actually had someone who loved me. Biggest mistake of my life, He got so mad, Just before he was about to hit me, Brian stepped in front of me and..." He trailed off into tears, Putting his face in his knees. "Hey, It's okay, So Brian took the hit I'm guessing?" He nodded and sniffled loudly, That woke Brian up QUICK. He hated the sound of brock crying, In half a second, Brian had pulled brock into his lap and snuggled him to sleep. I walked back to evan and fell back asleep next to him.
