There is just something about the written word that is mind boggling. It is so expressive, so powerful.
No written word is more powerful than the symbolic, the metaphorical. Poetry takes the raw emotion of the subconscious mind and the deepest depths of the heart and puts it out into the universe in a meaningful way.
Ever since I was a kid, I was writing poetry. It was a wonderful way to sort out my many thoughts growing up.
I don't write poetry too much anymore, so I decided to take what little poetry I did have and share it here with each of you.
