Formula 1- One Shots

Charles Leclerc- I'm here for you, Mate

Charles was sat on the bed after his failed podium. He was upset and mad at himself and the team. He knew it wasn't end of there fault, but he still felt like he needed to blame somebody. Charles couldn't help but sit there in silence, he didn't know what to do. He wanted to cry but he couldn't, he was emotionally drained. Everything's was hurting, his eyes, his head, his body. He wanted to go home. He wanted to re-live this day and not set his hopes to high.
"Mate are you ok?" Somebody asked from behind Charles, making him jump. Charles slowly turned around, thinking that it was a burglar.
"Pierre?" Said Charles, looking relieved that it wasn't a burglar.
"Are you ok?" Said Pierre, looking into Charles eyes.
"What are you doing here?" Asked Charles
"Well, your trainer and your team were worried about you, because you were acting off after the podium. Your trainer gave me a key to get in. So I have answered your question, now you answer mine!" Pierre said, sitting on the bed next to his best friend. Charles looked at his friend, he had always been there for him, he just didn't know how to explain. Charles couldn't help but let the tears start falling down his face.
"Mate, please don't cry. I am hear for you." Pierre said, putting an arm around Charles.
"The engine ruined my whole race. My podium would have been my first win." Sobbed Charles, leaning into Pierre's hug.
"I know you feel angry, but you don't have to take it out on your team."
"I know, I just needed somebody to blame." Snapped Charles. Pierre backed away from Charles, knowing how he could get when he was angry. "Sorry Pierre, I didn't mean to snap."
"It's ok."
Charles started to cry harder. Pierre sat down next to Charles, with the TV remote in his hand. "So what do you want to watch?" Asked Pierre. Charles looked at Pierre, with tears running down his face. Pierre sat there scrolling through Netflix, and didn't even realise that Charles was staring at him. Charles was still looking at Pierre, when Pierre noticed, "What?"
"You didn't have to do this? Yet, you are still here. Why, Pierre?" Asked Charles
"I am here for you, mate. No matter what!" Said Pierre
