Lando Norris + Carlos Saniz - Learning Spanish

Lando was bored and his boyfriend Carlos was talking rapped Spanish on the phone to somebody. It had been like this for hours and Lando wanted nothing more than to know what they were going on about, especially since he was planning on spending Christmas with the Saniz family.
"What's wrong, mi alma?" (My soul) Asked Carlos, putting his phone down to turn and look at his boyfriend. Who happened to be curled up in a ball staring at him.
"I want to know what you are saying!" Moaned Lando, looking into the Spaniard eyes. Carlos was taken back by Lando's statement, he knew that Lando wanted to learn Spanish but he never realised the Lando wanted to understand what he was telling his family.
"Tell you what Nando," said Carlos, using his pet nick name for Lando, causing Lando to sit up and look at Carlos, "I will teach you Spanish and then you can communicate with my family."
Not long after Carlos had finished speaking, Lando had launching himself over the back of the sofa and rapped himself around Carlos.
"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you." Cried Lando
"De nada" (your welcome) said Carlos, trying to get the smaller English boy off him.
"So when do we start?"
"Right now"

A few hours later Lando was starting to get a hang on the basics, but Carlos wanted him to nail all of the basics, so he wouldn't hesitate when speaking in front of his family.
"Come on Lando, you can do this" said Carlos, trying to encourage the Brit, "Don't think about anything, just do what I taught you."
"But Carlos,Spanish is so hard!"
"Well, Nando you should have though about that before you started to beg me to teach you another language."
Lando started to sulk. Carlos noticed the disappointed look on Lando's face and went and wrapped his arm around the Brit.
"But, my parents will love you no matter what. Even if you can't speak Spanish, they will still love you, because I love you." Said Carlos, lying down next to Lando.
Lando smiled at Carlos and berried his head into Carlos' shoulder.
"I love you, Carlos"
"Te quiero" (I love you)

I know that this one is quite short but I thought it was cute and I hope you have enjoyed reading it. Has anybody every tried learning a new language? At the minute I am trying to learn French and Spanish, because of Covid-19 and there being nothing else to do while stuck at home. How you are all staying safe.
