THE TRUTH (well bits of it anyway)

Well well well guess who's updating quickly again (me)

"We need to talk" Aqualad announced sternly after the Wayne's and Barbara arrived in the kitchen where they had been summoned for a house meeting, wonder what this is going to be about Dick thought to himself sarcastically

"Cool" Jason smirked slumping down on one of the kitchen chairs, spreading his legs "What about"

"You know exactly what about" Artemis snapped back at him, her and the rest of the team had been glaring at the boys since they first entered the kitchen

"How do you know" Conner grunted his glare worsening and focusing on Dick who couldn't help but shrink further into his seat at the glare, twiddling his fingers around as a distraction from the glare. It hurt a little that his closest friends were currently glaring at him as if he were there worst enemy, even if they didn't really know he was Robin, it just stung to know his team despised the real him.

"Urm, I figured it out" Dick muttered solemnly, regretting not thinking up a better excuse during his time moping in the Bat cave, Bruce would be disappointed with that awful excuse.

"How" Conner growled again everyone still glaring at Dick making him really wish he had Batman to hide behind like back at the cave

"Well I don't know if anyone told you" Dick gloated his smirk infuriating the team as he met there glares "I'm a genius"

The team stared unbelievably at the boy, did he really just expect them to believe that and carry on with there mission, he had to be crazy that was the only explanation, this boy was insane.

"You really expect us to believe that" Artemis scoffed at the boy as Jason, Tim and Barbara let out a little giggle

"No, as much as I hate to admit it he really is a genius, just ask his teachers or I don't know his classmates" Barbara said winking at Artemis as her face flushed red, great now Barbara knows as well Artemis thought exasperated

"I'm sorry who are you" Wally asked incredulously towards the redhead acting as if he'd only just noticed her presence "Are you like another Wayne sibling we just haven't met yet cause honestly I wouldn't be surprised"

All the Wayne's and Barbara scoffed at this "I think I would be dead by now if I had to live with these idiots" Barbara glared at Wally as if he had just said the most offensive thing in the world

"Hey!" Jason yelled "If Tim's survived this long I'm pretty sure you'd be fine" he bragged crossing his arms over his chest, his eyes narrowing dangerously at the redhead

"Tim has to sleep with his door locked because every time he doesn't Damian try's to kill him in his sleep" Barbara's scoffs back, also crossing her arms over her chest mocking Jason

"He's improved!" Dick yelled in defence of his youngest brother "He used to try stab him every time he walked in a room"

The team just stared at the teens who were snapping back and forth at each other and Damian who was currently trying to stab Tim with a fork now that Dick wasn't looking, completely lost and wondering why they'd ever tried to have a civil conversation with the Wayne's. At this point they were questioning there motives to ever be a hero in the first place, this mission was honestly giving them grey hairs. How Bruce Wayne managed to cope they'll never know.

"ENOUGH!" Kaldur yelled sternly making the room eerily silent as they all turned to stare at the leader who looked ready to drop kick them to Atlantis

"You know our identities, that puts us and our families at immediate risk therefore you must tell us what you know. Now!" Kaldur lectures his hand rested firmly on his hip, his angry glare not moving from Dick

Dick immediately felt sorry for his leader, he was clearly in distress and he had every right to be, Dick didn't know what he'd do if someone completely random found out there identities. Well he suppose he could just adopt them like Batman did when Tim found out, seriously can adoption just solve all Bruce's problems cause that's kinda weird, Dick pondered.

"No body outside this room knows" Dick answered trying to calm his team, he knew he couldn't tell them the real reason he knew even if it would make his team feel a lot more secure but Batman would kill him, well not actually but probably ground him for the rest of his life.

"We will not tell anyone" he smiled reassuringly hoping that his word would be enough to reassure them enough to not lock him in a cell, even though he knows until they have the full truth there is no way in hell they will trust him.

"What else do you know" Kaldur asked again sternly and as much as Dick didn't like to admit it he had to tell the truth to his leader, he deserved it. Well he deserved a lot more than the truth, maybe a medal or two, a 'I managed to look after the Wayne children for four days without killing myself or the Wayne's' medal, they should really do those.

"I know the whole leagues identities" he answered honestly as everyone around the rooms jaw dropped wide open in pure shock, there eyes widening theatrically and Artemis looked like she was ready to pull out her bow and start randomly firing, the Wayne's shocked that Dick would just own up to it and the team obviously shocked that he knew more then themselves

"What!" Artemis yelled in shock, that couldn't be true it just couldn't it made no sense, how could this 16 year old boy just know the leagues identities, he was lying. He had to be lying.

"your lying"

Dick scoffed, he knew they would think that "You really want me to start listing names Artemis"

"Even Batman and Robin" Conner asked curiously listening to the boys heartbeat to tell if he was lying

"Yes" he answered honestly as his heartbeat revealed to Conner that he was telling the truth which was just insane, this boy really knew more than most league members

"He's telling the truth" Conner growled angrily knowing that these kids were probably closer to Superman than himself

"Ooo who are they!" Wally asked happily seeming to forget the severity of the situation

"You really except me to tell you that idiot" Dick smirked at his best friend who didn't actually know he was his best friend and Wally frowned half heartedly

"Is that why Deathstrokes after you" Artemis thought aloud staring intently at the boy "Because you know the leagues identities and don't give me any of that he's trying to kill me crap because we all know that's not true"

Dick met Artemis glare as his brain was working on overtime to figure out what to say, he could just tell her he had no idea what she was talking about but neither she or the team deserved that, they deserve the truth.

"No not exactly" Dick answered honestly not sure how he should phrase his next words, "Deathstroke wants me as his apprentice" Dick smiled nervously at his team as they just gasped at him

"Welp there goes that secret" Jason face planted dropping to sit on the floor.
