CHAPTER 十二

toshi's famous?

The Karasuno Volleyball club had gone back to their after school practices. Toshi, though he was happy that his friends had learnt about him dating Osamu, was beginning to have second thoughts about telling them. This was mainly because Suga would make it his duty to fire questions at Toshi. These questions would usually be things such as: "When's his birthday?", "What does he look like?", "What are his interests?". However sometimes the questions would be more on the other side of the scale: "When's the wedding?", "What's his social security number?", "What's his blood type?", "What's his address?".

Although Toshi would feel overwhelmed with these questions, he knew that Suga meant well and was only looking out for him.

Once again, another session of practice came to an end. Toshi began to walk over to Noya who was looking through a magazine with stars in his eyes.

"Hm? What's going on?" Toshi asks.

"What? What's that?" Hinata asks.

"Look." Tanaka says, taking the magazine from Noya to show Toshi and Hinata, "Shiratorizawa's Ushiwaka is among the three most noticed high schoolers in the whole country."

"Shiratorizawa! That's where Kageyama couldn't get in." Hinata states.

"Shut up!" Kageyama shouts.

"Who's Ushiwaka?"

"You don't know?" Tanaka asks the first year.

"That's because you're only a fan of the Little Giant." Suga states.

"Let me tell you about Ushiwaka. He's unmistakably the number one ace in our prefecture: Ushijima Wakatoshi."

"Hmmm. He definitely has "ace" written all over him." Daichi says as he crosses his arms.

Daichi promptly switches his gaze to Asahi, the whole team follows in unison. Asahi jolts at the stares he receives.

"Hey, why are you looking at me?" Asahi asks, before turning away and sulking.

"Eh? What's this?" Hinata brings his face closer to one section of the page, "It's Nikijima!"

"What?! Oshi-kun is in the magazine?!" Noya shouts.

"Nikijima! Why didn't you tell us about being in the magazine?" Kageyama asks.

The whole volleyball team turns their focus to Toshi. The male in question simply runs a hand through his hair.

"Oh... I forgot that I was going to be in it." Toshi answers.

"Toshi!! How could you forget?!" Tanaka shouts.

"Nikijima, you're amazing! You're in a volleyball magazine yet you're being really humble about it!" Hinata praises Toshi.

"I think that he really did forget..." Suga mumbles, Daichi promptly agrees with his vice captain.

"Nikijima! Since you're famous can I have your autograph?!" Hinata excitedly asks.

"M-Me too!" Kageyama has a slight blush on his face as he points to himself.

"Hm? Sure?"

Hinata and Kageyama rush off to get a notebook and a pen. As they run back to Toshi, they end up pushing each other to the side, eager to be the first one to get Toshi's autograph. The male lets out a sigh before grabbing both of the notebooks, filling one page with his autograph.
