Imogen was lead into a huge room set out with sofas and over to the side, a weights bench. There was a table with hot plates as the staff mulled around preparing dinner for the guys return. At the end of the table was 2 cool boxes filled with ice and all varies of drinks. People dipped in and out of the rooms picking stuff up and dropping stuff of. A short man came into the room and looked at her confused,
"You supposed to be in here?" He asked
She looked startled,
"Erm yes, I was told to wait here for the guys to finish their interview"
"Oh ok. You British? He quizzed her
She smiled "yes but I live here now"
He nodded his head and stared at her. She shuffled uncomfortably in her seat not knowing what to say.
"You wanna drink"
She shrugged "yes I will thank you"
He summoned her over to him as he walked towards to cool boxes.
"Take what you want from here, we got plenty to choose from"
She looked in the box and picked out a la croix
"Thank you"
She went to sit back down painfully aware he was still watching her. She opened the can and took a small sip.
"You want some music on?"
"No it's fine, thank you"
Again he stared just as Donnie came back in to Imogen's relief
"Hey ferdi's here. How you doing my little friend"
Donnie put his arm around the mans neck and play punched him in his arm as he spotted Imogen,
"Argh Imogen is  here too. Have you been looking after her Ferdi?" He asked
Ferdi smiled and laughed  hopping from one foot to the other "yeah yeah, I got her a drink, see" he pointed at the can Imogen had in her hand
"Good man" said Donnie
"I asked her if she wanted music, she said no"
"No music?" Donnie teased "so she ain't seen you dance?"
Imogen pursed her lips not to laugh
"He's a great dancer aren't you?" Donnie asked Ferdi
Ferdi laughed "no mr Donnie"
"Yeah you are man, go put some of that salsa music on you like"
Ferdi went off you plug the iPod set up with an amp. After a few seconds the sound of the Spanish guitar kicked in and Ferdi wiggled his hips to the music so did Donnie. Imogen laughed at the fun they had. Joe came in with his shirt off and placed on his head shouting
"La musica salsa" he joined in the dancing
Danny came in and laughed at the other guys dancing.
"Come on man join in" said Donnie
Danny waved his hands and shook his head
Jon and Jordan came in together
"Hey Ferdi" Jon laughed
"A mi amigo Ferdi le gusta baila" Jordan shouted.
Imogen giggled at the guys antics. It was so nice to just see them like this. The song ended and everybody clapped and cheered.  Ferdi quickly ducked out the room. Jon came and sat beside Imogen,
"These guys are crazy"
Imogen laughed "are they like this all the time?"
"Yep" he said he paused "You're from England right?"
She nodded "Yes but I live in LA now"
"Argh ok" Jon said "we love it over there. Where are you from?"
"It's a place could Frodsham in Cheshire. It's about 35 miles away from Manchester"
"Nice" he nodded " it's real pretty in the UK"
"It is when your out of the city like where I'm from. We have the countryside and lots of farms near my parents home. You have a farm now though don't you?"
He nodded "yeah my partner Harley and I do. We're just fixing it up though first but we have some chickens, horses and goats. It's nice to get away you know. Kinda peaceful"
She agreed "yeah that must be good when you been touring for so long?"
He laughed "yeah we got a lot of land so we can trek or even just mull about on the tractor. It's like another world"
Jordan wandered over with a handful of grapes in one hand and a can of la croix in the other. He pointed at the can with his own
"You like it too?" He smiled
"Yeah it's my favourite" she smiled
"Me too" he put a grape in his mouth
The huge trays of food came in and placed on the hot plates. It smelt so good
"Dinner already?" Jordan looked confused
"Yeah it's like 6 now. Joe said he gets sick if he eats to soon before the show so Marisa said she'd do it early" said Jon
Jordan shrugged "aw ok, I guess I'm a bit hungry now"
"You're always hungry Jordan" Jon laughed as he stood up.
Jordan frowned and mumbled "when it's here it smells good so then I want it"
Imogen giggled at the brothers and the way they acted together. She could tell they were close. Donnie came over with a big plate of food and sat in the space Jon had just left
"You gotta try this, it's real good. Marisa cooks it all fresh. If I didn't go on stage after this, I swear I'd be 20 pounds heavier. My wife kills me for it"
"You look good though so it can't be doing you that bad. Your routines must be exhausting?" Imogen asked
"I know that's what I try to tell her but she don't listen to me. She watches me eat then gets a fork and starts eating off my plate"
Imogen laughed "that's a girls prerogative though. She says she doesn't want it then watch you eat to take some herself. That's lesson 5.0 in the girl code"
Donnie laughed as he put a massive amount of food in his mouth and pointed his fork whilst he chewed
"It's annoying im sat here enjoying it and have to give half away"
"Yes but she's your wife, you're supposed to share with her" Imogen teased
"She just needs to get her own"
Summer Rae came up behind Donnie. Imogen spotted her but, put her finger on her lips to surprise him
"Hey mister look how much food you have on there" she kissed his cheek
"Baby it's good and before you sit down go get some of your own I'm not sharing"
She play hit him "that's rude"
He laughed "but you always say that, then go and eat it. Go get some"
"I don't want any" she laughed
He looked at Imogen "didn't I just say she'd do this?"
Imogen giggled "yeah but it's like I said it's a girls prerogative"
Summer Rae held her hand up for Imogen to high 5 her, then both laughed "amen to that sista!"
"I'm getting ganged up on over here fellas, my wife's recruiting allies" he shouted over to the other guys.
"Hey you stay away from my wife then Summer Rae I get enough shit" Joe teased
Donnie shook his head "this is Imogen by the way. She's doing the 20th anniversary doc"
Summer Rae smiled "oh hi nice to meet Donnie told me about that. It's gonna be exciting"
"I think so. The guys have been kind enough to let me crash their gig tonight, I'm super excited"
Donnie cleared his mouth "Imogen is a blockhead too"
"Oh wow this must be pretty important to you then too"
Imogen nodded her head "oh yes. The guys have given so much to us over the years. I think I've got a good insight what blockheads want to see. It's nice for them to reminisce, me too. You're a blockhead too aren't you?"
"More so now because I'm married to this guy but yeah I was before too"
"Ask her who her favourite new kid is" Donnie smiled
"Oh no. Have you really made her do that?" Summer Rae laughed loudly
"They really did make me say it in front of maybe 30 people, I was ambushed!"
"Yeah but who's your favourite new kid?" Donnie pressed
Imogen had a huge smile and went red
"You're making me say it again? Come on your killing me"
Donnie had a forkful of food "I ain't gonna drop it so you may as will just say it"
Summer Rae laughed "stop it.....no really who is it?"
Imogen looked over at Joe and Jenny followed her gaze,
"It's Joemac?" Summer Rae said and laughed really loud
"Joe come here"
Imogen shrunk into the sofa.
"Wassup" Joe said as he danced over
"Imogen is a joe girl" Summer Rae said
Joes eyes where wide "I know but you can see why" he joked
"Not me, I can't see it" teased Donnie
"You're just jealous though" Joe laughed "Ima hot guy" he winked
"Who said you're hot?" Donnie asked
"Me" said Joe
"Anybody can say their hot though" Donnie said with a cheeky grin "I can say I'm hot"
Summer Rae lent down and put her arms around his neck and kissed him "I think you're hot"
He tapped her hand "thanks babe"
"But she's your wife, she gotta say your hot" said Joe
Imogen had tears running down her eyes from laughing
"So Aspen wouldn't say you're hot?" Summer Rae asked
Joe lifted his hands up and shrugged "yeah I guess so"
"Then it's the same thing." Summer Rae said
"Pah I don't care she's a Joe girl end of" Joe smiled
"You know he's gonna be going be milking this for weeks now" Donnie said
"I might" said Joe smirking
"Ok Im a new kids girl, I like all of you" Imogen laughed
Joe pointed "no you can't do that. You called it earlier. Saying all of us now is a cop out and a lie"
Donnie stood up "see you created a monster"
Everybody laughed
"I'm gonna take a shower " Donnie said
"Yep I'm gonna go run" said Joe
"Shall I come with you?" Summer Rae asked Donnie
"Will you scrub my back?" he asked
"I might" she smiled
"Then come" he gave her a sultry look and grabbed her hand
"See you later" Donnie saluted
As Joe left. Imogen looked round the room. Everybody had left apart from Jordan he straddled the weights bench but was scrolling through his phone. He was topless. He was in really good shape. His toned muscles glistened with sweat from his work out. He must have sensed Imogen watching him so, looked up. She tried to look away before he noticed but was too late. He came over to her grabbing a towel on the way. Sitting at the other end of the sofa to Imogen. She shuffled to turn towards him and smiled. He gave her a half grin
"So how did you end up in the US?"
She shrugged "I just wanted a new challenge. I'd done docs in the UK for 10 years. I got a couple of awards but, there was no room to build anything more. I was going to go to Australia but, i had a friend come out here and talked me into come here instead"
He nodded "so where you at now?"
"I'm in Malibu. My friend who took me in and gave me a room in her condo."
"Nice" he nodded "I have an apartment to Malibu too just near Zuma. I don't use it too much. I live mainly in Boston"
Imogen's eyes were wide "I'm near Zuma too just on Zuma view"
He smiled "yeah I know that, it's nice there. I'm on Cavalleri road so not far away from you."
"I love the beach so much" he said
"I know I've spent many sunrises on there, I could never get bored of that" she smiled.
"I live on the coast in Boston too." He added
As the silence hit they both just stared at each other. The feeling shot through her body again. There was something about Jordan. She wracked her brain of other things to say to keep him there. She figured if she did that, she could try and figure out the little spark that he seemed to light.
"So do you have like a routine you do before a show?" She asked
Kinda I take a nap sometimes, eat, weights then shower. We do the meet and greets before the show"
She smiled "I know I did some!"
He grinned "shit really? That's funny. Where did you do them?"
"Erm 2 in the UK, in Manchester and London then Anaheim"
"So you're like seasoned then huh?"
"I do them when I can. You have girls at way more than that though. I've met girls who it's easier to tell me where they haven't been"
He laughed "yeah we have a few. We know some by name. It's pretty crazy. They spend so much money coming all over the country, some all over the world. It's just pretty humbling. Having the fans we do, that wanna do that we are just thankful. They keep us going"
"It must be hard for your families being on the road?"
He looked away for a moment. "Yeah, they come out to see us when they can" he looked at the ground.
It had been 2 years since Jordan and Melissa had jointly announced their divorce. He had asked for privacy surrounding it for the sake of his boys. She got that.
Imogen could feel the heat radiating from her face. Every word he spoke, sent a shockwave through her body. There was a connection that, she had no clue where it came from but, it felt good.
"I better get ready for the meet and greets" he said suddenly.
She nodded. He walked over to the door before,  a brief pause to turn back to look at her. She couldn't take her eyes off him. He seemed to look at her the same way.
She sat in thought for the whole time they were doing m&g.  A hand on her shoulder caused her to jump. It was Jon,
He gave a short laugh, "Sorry I didn't mean to startle you"
She smiled "no it's fine."
He sat down "we just finished meet and greets"
Imogen hadn't realised how long she'd been sat there for, "OMG that went quick"
He laughed "we don't have a huge amount of time, it's kinda like a conveyer belt."
She laughed.
Jordan came back over
"Hey sorry to interrupt"
Jon smiled. Jordan looked at Imogen,
"Can I talk to you?"
Imogen nodded although she was completely confused
He motioned with his head to come with him. She looked around as the other boys busied themselves coming in and out of their dressing rooms half dressed. Jordan found a small nook just off the main corridor he stepped in there. He looked kind of nervous
"I don't normally do this. I mean it's kinda out of the blue. I just get this feeling if I don't say this now I'd regret it. Would you like to maybe hang out for a bit after the show?"
Imogen looked on in shock. She wondered if he was getting that same spark she felt She paused a bit too long,
"Hey don't worry it's all good if you don't want to..."
She put her hand on his arm to reassure him,
"No, it's not that at all. You just surprised me. I'd like that, thanks"
His eyes dropped to where her hand was. They both stared at each other for a few seconds. Imogen's heart was beating so fast. Her fingers prickled on his skin.
He smiled,
"good. I've gotta get ready now so enjoy the show and I'll see you later" he winked
"Thanks Jordan"
He walked off. Her eyes followed him down the corridor. He turned back almost like he could feel her staring. As he turned to go into his dressing room, he gave her a smile. Imogen tipped her head back to rest on the wall and shut her eyes. What the hell happened? He took her by surprise. He effected her.
The show had been fantastic. Imogen stood in a section for family and friends next to the stage with Summer Rae and they sang along to all the songs. They even copied 'the right stuff' routine laughing all the way through it. The energy the guys put into the show was amazing. The audience cheered the whole time and at  points, it felt like the roof would fly off. For those 90 minutes, they made thousands of fans forget about everything else that was going on with their lives. Right then it was about love.
As they left the stage for the final time, they came off through rows of staff applauding them. Jordan came straight over to Imogen, I just have to shower and change then we can get out of here. I'll meet you in the lounge"
"Ok" she smiled
He smiled back. Again that feeling was there, the look in Jordan's eyes, he felt it too.
The backstage area was a hive of activity with the road crew packing stuff up. Before the concert had cleared the stadium, the riggers were already taking lighting and the stage was on its way down. Imogen hung kind of awkwardly as the crew started to pack stuff away. She propped against the wall scrolled through her Facebook page. Out of the corner of her eye she could see a figure moving towards her. She looked up. Jordan walked towards her smiling. He was like a different person. He looked really handsome in his distressed jeans and a grey button down shirt. She smiled back. As he came  closer she could smell his cologne. He smelt so good
His smile was huge "let's go"
Imogen followed him out down the long corridor. She hadn't realised how big the stadium was. Huge lorries were being loaded. Over in the far corner by an open shutter, was a black van it had a cable companies logo on the side of it. Confused as they got closer, Jordan looked over at the man leaning on the drivers door.
"Stevie G"he shouted
The man looked up and smiled
"hey Jordan you're early tonight"
he opened the side door and too Imogen's surprise was seating. The logo on the side was clearly to get the guys out of the building without being mobbed. Jordan held his arm out for her to get in first. She smiled and got in he followed her in and sat beside her.
Looking sheepishly through his mirror Steve looked back
"Are you heading back to the hotel?"
The awkwardness seemed to hit them both at the same time. Imogen blushed and quickly watched the floor,
"Shit, I didn't think that part through" he said shyly "we can grab a coffee or get some food? We could probably find somewhere" he shrugged
Not wanting to leave him hanging she smiled
"Coffee sounds good"
Still shocked he nodded
"Steve do you know any coffee stores around here" he cleared his throat
Steve rubbed his head
"I don't know man, I guess I could Google search for one?"
"The hotel I'm staying at has a restaurant, I'm sure we could get a coffee there?" Imogen suggested "it's the liberty Marriott"
Jordan laughed "me too! It makes sense to head over there then?"
Imogen nodded.
"Stevie you know where you're going right?"
"It's all good man"
As they headed out of the building, could see a limited amount of the roads ahead. There were still lots of people trying to leave the venue. Jordan turned and said
"We normally leave a little later to avoid getting stuck in the traffic."
"I can see why, it's gridlocked"
Imogen watched as Jordan was paying attention to the road, his fingers rested on his lips as he tapped. Just then a girl stepped out right in front of the van
"Watch out watch out, damns these girls be all crazy"
We were far enough back in the van not to be seen as the girl came to the drivers window. She was banging so hard like  the window was going to shatter. Stevie rolled down the window before it did
"Hey you came out the center right?"
He nodded
"Where are the new kids?" She asked.
Jordan without thinking put his hand on Imogen's knee. She looked down startled but didn't move it.
"I don't know" stevie said
"Cmon you must do. They were in there, you were in there, you gotta have seen them"
"Nope I'm a sound guy, they leave way before me"
"Well where they stayin?"
He shrugged his shoulders
"You work for them and don't know where they stayin? Where you stayin"
He laughed "we go somewhere different. Anyway the traffics movin now I'm causing a jam I gotta go"
"I wanna go see them though where are they?"
"I don't know" he started edging forward to get her to move away. "
The girl still hung onto the window.
"Let go" stevie said as he picked up speed.
Finally she gave in and let go so they could drive on. After a few moments Jordan turned and smiled at her.
"Wow these girls are relentless" Imogen said in shock
He nodded "that ain't even all though. No matter how hard we switch stuff up and try and keep it quiet, they find out stuff. I mean like C.I.A shit."
Imogen laughed.
"No seriously it's a whole level of what the f"
She laughed again "that's a lot of love to go to that extent"
He nodded. "This one time we stayed in erm" he thought for a moment "I don't know, maybe like Chicago. We are back at the hotel. We switch names,  you know,  so they can't find us. This one girl worked something out and the dude on reception gave Joe's room number. She went up there. We had security so, she didn't get far but she screamed his name over and over. We got a message to say stay in our rooms. But this girl made such a hype, we all heard her. Joe was fumin he was there with like his wife and kid"
Imogen put her hand over her mouth
"It turned out a bogus maintenance guy had tricked the staff and managed to see the name he used on the booking reference. He gave the girl the details"
"Shit who does that? That must be pretty scary?"
He nodded "we can laugh about it sometimes cos it would tear you up if you took it on. It's got better now because they're older but you know..."
They arrived in the parking lot at the hotel and stevie pulled in by the elevator. We could hear him taking to somebody but  Imogen didn't know who. The side door flew open causing Imogen to jump,
"Holy shit" she yelled
Jordan put his hand on her knee again, "relax it's just Andre one of our security" he laughed
Imogen gave a small laugh "oh ok"
"Hey Jordan, you ok? The lobby is pretty busy, you going up to your room?"
The huge man looked over at Imogen. God knows what he was thinking she thought
"Oh, well no we were gonna get some coffee he said
Andre shook his head "not a good idea man, you'll get mobbed. You can get room service though?"
Jordan looked at Imogen and ran his hand through his hair. He sighed,
"You wanna come up, i don't usually do this, I mean...."
Imogen smiled "I get it honestly, yeah I'll go up as long as you're ok with that?"
He nodded and grinned "oh yeah its definitely is ok with me"
They took the elevator to the 1st floor. It was awkward with silence but they both couldn't break away from looking at each other. The ping to say they'd reached the floor broke the gaze. Jordan turned to look at Andre.
"To the left, straight down the corridor. The suite is the last one on the right"
Jordan nodded. He placed his hand on the small of Imogen's back to guide her. She couldn't help but feel how attentive he was. Andre passed Jordan a key as he opened the door. He smiled.
"Thanks man" Jordan said
"Of course" Andre said as he left.
The suite was much bigger than hers but hey, he's the star here Imogen thought. The lounge was huge. It was stylishly dressed in more high end furniture than that in Imogen's but still in a similar style that spread right through the hotel. Jordan gestured towards the sofas. She smiled as she sat down. He sat on the same sofa but at the other end as he did at the stadium.
"I don't know about you but I'm starving" he said rubbing his torso. Imogen couldn't help but notice how his hand dipped and rose over his firm chest. He reached over to the leather bound menu " we can get pizza?"
"Sounds good" she smiled
Again the silence ascended. Jordan shook his head,
"Can we start over?" He sat back resting his head on the back of the sofa.
"I suck at this stuff"
She pushed her lips tightly together. The thought of Jordan knight finding talking to females difficult amused her.
"It's fine honestly" she shrugged. Her own nervous energy was barely contained. Her skin grew clammy and the leather made it worse.
He turned to face Imogen as she stood to remove her jacket showing her top more. She sat back down almost mesmerised by his stare.
He rested his arm on the back of the sofa and slowly rubbed his hand through his hair with the other. So tell me about you" he asked
"Me" she replied "what do you wanna know?"
His hand dropped to rub his face with his index finger and thumb
"So where in England are you from?"
"A place called Frodsham. It's about 35 miles away from Manchester"
He looked bemused and frowned "from where?"
"Frodsham" she smiled
"Frog em?" He said
Imogen laughed "no frod. Like frog but with a d instead of a g then sham. Frodsham"
"Frodsham?" He said in his attempt to speak English
She laughed again "yes but your attempt at the accent, nah" she laughed
"How dare you" he continued still in an English accent.
Imogen shook her head.
"So what happens in Frodsham?" He asked
She shrugged "not much really. It's quiet but friendly. We have a famous musician come from there too" she joked
"Oh yeah who?" He asked
"Gary Barlow from the band-"
He interrupted "take that"
She nodded
"I thought those guys were from Manchester " he replied
She shook her head "kind of, but more that's where the band originated."
He smiled "Argh ok. Were you not a take that fan? "
She laughed again "yeah they're ok"
He nodded and grinned a cheeky grin.
"So Malibu. You said you have a room with a friend?"
"Yeah. My best friend actually. I've known her most of my life"
The knock on the door broke the conversation. Jordan got up and half jogged to the door
"Hey" he said quietly. Just on the coffee table please"
The man bought the large pizza box and 2 icy drinks. Jordan gave him a tip as he left. He came back over taking his hoody off as he did. When he lifted his arms, his shirt rose to show off the v shape of his toned muscles and hips. Imogen couldn't help but stare. He caught her again and smirked. He opened the box and offered her to take a piece
"Thank you" she said
"So, you live with your friend?"
She nodded her head.
"No boyfriend?" He didn't look up as he asked
"Nope" she paused
He nodded slowly
"I had boyfriends but" she shrugged "they don't work out"
"Why not?" He asked really quickly
She stopped eating and smiled at his directness
"Sorry, old habit"
"It's ok" she said "I don't know they just don't pan out the way I hoped I guess"
He looked at her intently.
"So you been a blockhead since the beginning?"
"Yep since I was a kid. Hangin tough was my first ever album"
His smile grew
"Yep I had my parents buy me video of the Hangin tough show too"
He laughed
"I knew every dance routine. I practised all the time. In school, at home, it drove my folks mad. I couldn't keep still. My ballet teacher got so pissed off with me trying to incorporate right stuff in with my ballet"
"That's so funny" he laughed
"She hated me" She laughed too "she used to tell me off and kicked me out of the class so much. I'd just go and join in with the other dance classes going on. That's how I found street dancing"
"Hey really? that's cool"
She nodded and opened her can. "Yeah that really pissed her off. I danced since I was 3. By 8 I was one of her protégés. I got bored though. I'd passed my advanced 2 stage in ballet at 14 and I just grew more curious towards the street dance. My parents switched my classes in the end. I had to beg them though. My mom was so caught up in me being principle in swan lake some day. I was in a crew with older kids. I learnt quick. My ballet disciplines helped me somewhat.  By 15 we were entering dance comps all over the UK. It was exhausting but I guess you know that better than I do"
He laughed "yeah it was hard work back then. We were putting in crazy long hours. Promos and shopping malls, anywhere Maurice could get us gigs."
"It paid off though"
"It did" he nodded "how about you? Did you carry on dancing?"
" I did for a while. I was cast in a few movies, nothing massive but you know" she blushed
"A few movies! Shit I wouldn't write it off so quickly"
"It's hardly like I was principal leads, I was background"
"It paid the bills" he added
"It did. That's when I got interested in the other side of the lens. I watched the director between takes. I asked lots of questions. Aside from annoying the crap out of him he kind I of took me under his wing. He was a good mentor. He taught me all I know. He was asked to direct a doc about racism. It was around the time of a brutal murder of a young black man. We shown How racism was made to look like it didn't exist. We filmed a few occasions where it was apparent. . Both white and black supremacy stuff. It was really raw. Seeing that amount to hate tore me up. He got award by the guild and credited me as his assistant. It went from there."
"Wow that's impressive" he really thought about what she said.
She smiled and pushed her hair behind her ear. The smile grew into a laugh.
He looked amused at her
"Wow you just hijacked my backstory in 10 minutes"
He smiled ruefully "hey we need to square this up. You know about me, I'm just getting to know you"
She couldn't argue with that.
"I suppose" she looked at him as he licked his lips. It sent a shock through her body. It peaked her interest because, until that moment Joe had always been her favourite new kid. As if reading her thoughts he said
"So Joe is your favourite?"
She squirmed in her seat her whole body flushed with embarrassment. He laughed with a hint of teasing in him. He reached over and nudged her with his foot. "I'm teasing you"
She buried her head into the cushion she had cradled.
They talked for a while longer before they were both yawning,
"Well thank you for dinner it has been great chatting to you butI better get going it's late" she said trying to compose herself
He looked her "ok well let me walk you to your room?"
"It's fine" she smiled "you need to sleep"
"Nah" he said "we got some downtime for a couple of days. Donnie is heading over to do some blue bloods stuff so we get time off"
"Argh ok. Are you heading back to Boston?"she asked
"I was going to but, my son Issac kind of blew me out for a birthday party. I'm just gonna chill here. We'll head over the New York from here on Wednesday ready for the show on Thursday."
"Oh ok" she smiled
"How about you?" He asked
"I'm staying too. I've got bits and pieces scheduled  in before heading over to New York so I get the weekend to compose"
"Compose huh?" He thought for a second " I like that"
Jordan walked her too the door,
"Well thanks again for tonight it's been nice talking to you" she smiled
"Yeah you too Imogen" he mused
"Good night Jordan"
"Good night"
She walked down the corridor knowing Jordan hadn't shut the door yet. She pressed the button to call the elevator. As she waited she turned back to see Jordan leaning against the door frame watching her. The ping of the doors opening pulled her from her gaze. As she stepped in she smiled back to him. Leaning on the handrail she could feel her heart beating faster. Thoughts of their time replayed over in her head. The elevator abruptly stopped again pulling her from her thoughts. Back at her room she turned on the lights and dropped her case  and key on the dresser. She closed the curtains and dropped back on the bed. Jordan had consumed her thoughts, she wasn't expecting that. She rubbed her head and sighed. Laying for a minute before summoning up the energy to wash and change into the satin short set of pjs she pulled out of her case. After turning all the lights off, she slipped under the coolness of the sheet. She closed her eyes in hope that her brain would switch off and allow her to rest. No such luck though. As much as she tried her brain kept refocusing back to one person.
