Since you walked into my life

Chapter 8

The alarm Imogen set went off at 6.30. She look over at Jordan.
"Jordan?" She whispered
"I'm awake I just don't wanna get up"
She moved over to him to kiss his cheek.
"Don't make me get up" he smiled
"We have to" she laughed
He pulled her in and tickled her
"Nnooo baby"
She tried to get up but he held her next to him
"JK, come on" she laughed
"Damn it" he smirked
She got up and went into the bathroom to turn the shower on. She brushed her teeth watching Jordan settling back down to sleep. She undressed and got under the hot jet of water. She tipped her head back and pushed her hair from around her face. She felt Jordan move in behind her. "Morning" he said
"Oh you're up now"
"I'd say so" he whispered into her ear.

Imogen picked out some close fit jeans with a black lace tank top and blazer. She wore her hair down with neutral coloured make up with her trademark red lipstick. Jordan wore black jeans and a blue plaid shirt and suede boots. She could feel her body reacting to him. His cologne filled the air as she drew a breathe to take in his scent. Unable to keep her hands off him she put her arms around his waist and settled into his body. He lifted her head and kissed her just as Jen knocked on the door to let them know the car was out front.
The sidewalk was full. At least 5 deep in new kids fans. As they got into the lobby Andre said to Imogen "keep your head down and move quickly into the car"
She nodded. Jordan touched her fingers to let her know he was there. He'd come out after her.
Moving off from the kerb she kept her head down until they were far enough away.
"How do they know you're there?" She asked
He shrugged "I told you, they're like C.I.A"
They only had a short drive to the red fish office even in the city traffic. Jared was already in the reception area when Jordan and Imogen arrived. Jared looked between them suspiciously. It was going to become pretty apparent they were together so, Jordan was going to speak to Jared before they went up to the meeting. For now, Imogen had asked for Geoff to not know. She was too soon into the job for her to gage his view on relationships on a working level.
She waved at Jared from the other side of the lobby and carried on to meet with Geoff.
"Good morning" he smiled as she came into his office.
"Hi Geoff. How we looking?"
"Good. I made the adjustments we discussed"
"Ok. I sent the sound crew the memo so they are aware.
"Perfect. It seems like you have it all sorted"
Imogen smiled, at least he could see she could handle the job. Imogen was keen to set a good professional impression with Geoff.
They walked over to the conference room where everybody started to gather when Jared and Jordan came in. She went over with Geoff to greet them. Shaking their hands she gave Jordan a look. The gleam in his eye melted her. Sitting down at the table , Jordan was sat almost opposite her. She could feel his stare. Putting her glasses on she put her pen in her mouth and gave Jordan a smouldering look. He shook his head smiling and put his head down. They spent most of the meeting glancing at each other. Everything had gone well and the meeting came to an end. Imogen played the part and thanked jared and Jordan for coming over. Just as he left she looked up, out of sight of everybody else he blew her a kiss. She laughed leaving Geoff looking confused. She was at the office for the rest of the day leaving just after 6.30. Jordan had arranged the car to bring her back to the hotel. There were now a whole heap more blockheads at the hotel clearly arriving for the concert. Safely in the lobby she made her way up to the room. Her excitement to be back with him quickened her pace.
Jordan was on the phone when she got into the room. He looked up as she walked in and smiled brightly. She slipped her heels off  as he made his way over to greet her. Whoever he was on the phone to he said to them "I'll be right back I just gotta sort something. He wrapped her in his arms and kissed her passionately. His touch sent a shock through her body.
"Mwoah JK have you missed me" she grinned
"You don't even know how much" he said
"I think I do" she replied.
Leading her to the bedroom he lay her down next to him she held him tightly. It had only been a few hours but it felt like a week. The serenity was unreal. She waiting patiently for him to finish his call. As soon as he hung up
Imogen laughed "how was your day dear"
"Meh! I had a meeting this morning and this little minx was making me wild. All I kept thinking was to jump over the table and kiss her but, I behaved. After that, my day dragged. I couldn't stop thinking about her.
"Wow really? That's funny because a guy shown up at my work today for a meeting and I spent the whole time mentally undressing him. It took all I had to concentrate. After that I can't really remember because in my mind I'd already left to get back to him. Then I arrived at the hotel and saw girls with I love Jordan signs and I released, I'm the luckiest girl on the planet"
"What a coincidence" he joked "are you hungry?"
"Oh my gosh, yes, starving"
"Ok well let's go eat, then we come back and do this?"
"Absolutely" she said.
"How did it go with Jared?" She asked on the way down
"Good, he heard we left together the other night so he had an idea."
She nodded. Her posture changed,
"I was thinking today about our schedules? You know we go in opposite directions after Thursday"
He rubbed his face "I know." It was clearly on his mind too.
"I'm here until Sunday then I'm flying back to LA. I don't see you then for a week" the thought of being away from him wasn't something she was looking forward to.
He nodded "ive got to head back to Boston. I need to check in with Issac and Jayden and I want to meet with Melissa . How long are you going to be in LA?"
She shrugged " until I fly out to Boston"
"That's like a week" he looked disappointed.
She cuddled into him as he put his chin on her head.
"Can you get out to Boston sooner?" He asked
"I need a couple of days in LA but I could switch my flights to maybe Wednesday instead of Sunday?"
"Let me get Jen to take care of it" he said
"You don't have to do that, I can do it"
"No you just concentrate on getting back to me"
She kissed him.
