"Uh...um...no...I, uh, don't think it's a good idea," James muttered, going slightly red in the face. He scratched his neck. Maria let her arms uncross and hit her side.
"Great. Just great. Well, what do you suggest, James, Wanda?" Maria demanded.
"Can you give us some time to think, please? It's not every day that a creature shows up in your friend's house," Wanda snapped back. "I'm going to call some of our friends, see if they made it out okay."
Wanda stepped aside to call most likely Sharon or Jane.
"Hello? Sharon?"
"Oh my god, Wanda! You're okay!"
"I'm good, I'm good! What about you?"
"Yeah, we're fine too. I'm with Steve, Peggy, and Natasha at my place. We're kind of just hiding for now. Where are you?"
"Me, James, Maria, and Sam are at his house upstate. You want me to give you directions?"
"That'd be great, thanks!"
"Got it." Wanda hung up. "Guys, Sharon, Nat, Peggy, and Steve are all ok and I sent Sharon the address so they should be coming here soon. I'll check on Jane now." Wanda found Jane's number. "Hello?"
"H...hello? Who is this?"
"What do you mean who is it?"
"I mean, the thing's some sort of shapeshifter. If you're it, you likely don't know who you are right now, which is why I'm asking."
"It's Wanda. And you said shapeshifter?"
"A WHAT?!" Maria yelled. Wanda shushed her.
"Yeah, it shifted into me and Thor right in our faces."
"So if what you're telling me is true, then who am I talking to right now?"
"Jane."
"Ok. And you're sure everyone with you is...them, right?"
"It's just me, Thor and Carol. We left and went to Carol's since the shapeshifter is at Thor's or entered through there...as we all know."
"I'll send you the address to where we are so all of us can be in the same place."
"Is everyone else with you as well?"
"Only James, Maria and Sam, but I called the other four and they're on their way."
"Great. I'll tell the others and we'll come up as well."

"Hello," a familiar voice said. Peggy turned around to see Jane smiling at her.
"Jane? I don't understand, weren't you just in there?"
"I..got out."
"I see that," Peggy replied, a bit skeptical. Jane suddenly rushed up to her, punching her enough to knock her out. "Jane" started looking more and more like Peggy until it completely looked and sounded like her. It left the real Peggy in the bathroom and went towards Steve's car.
"Wait for me!" 'Peggy' yelled, catching up.
