The recent elimination of Natasha Romanoff caused a colossal rift between the two groups in the house. The groups mainly stayed apart from each other, so much so that they divided the house in two. The only rooms shared were the ones with food, drinks, and other necessities. The group of Steve, Jane, Wanda, James, and Sharon were sitting by the front door when they heard a knock. All five of them turned their heads.
"Who...who's that?" asked Sharon.
"I don't know...could be one of them....or...someone...else..." James trailed off.
"But why would they come over here, they know we want nothing to do with them," Wanda argued.
"Should we open the door, then?" Sharon continued.
"I'll do it. Get behind the door in case it's....I don't know," Steve interrupted. He opened the door to reveal Peggy.
"What the hell are you doing here?" His tone was flat and uninterested.
"I don't know what's happened here, but if you saw me anywhere in the past few days, that wasn't me."
"You're telling me you were the shapeshifter?"
"Whatever looked like me was, yes."
"Why should I believe you anyway? From what you pulled the other day, I..."
"What did I do the other day?...What happened here, Steve?"
"I would tell you, but I think you already know."
"Oh my- Steve, I haven't been here! I just drove from the city! You want proof, there's my car. And if you remember, I "drove" with you."
"Well, I haven't really seen anyone from the other side of the house at all. For all I know, you're the shifter who went back to the city, took Peggy's car, and drove here to prove that it's not you. Well, I'm not going to let you or them try to persuade anybody to 'get rid of' any more of our friends, kay?"
"First off, do you really think any creature would go through all of that when it can just switch to another person? Second, what do you mean, 'get rid of'?"
"As much as I shouldn't believe, you, I do. That means we have to go find the other Peggy, and capture her before something happens again." Peggy came into the house while Steve quickly explained the situation to the others. They were all in agreement of going to find fake Peggy, so they ran through the house to the other side, where they found empty seats. All 5 were gone. "Fuck."

Little did they know, Sam had gone out in the forest for a walk, and Thor and Carol were drinking by the pool. Shifter Peggy had taken Maria hostage deeper into the forest, past where Sam could hear.
