Chapter 10: The Drill

"Hi guys!" I greeted my teammates, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.

Right now, we're at the Training Fields. Kakashi-sensei told us to come here yesterday after we introduced ourselves yesterday.

~Flashback, Yesterday~

"Alright then, let's start introducing ourselves!" Kakashi suggested.

"Then I'll start from name, what you are and your goal!" he said then he started.

Then after him was Naruto then Sakura then Sasuke and it was finally my turn but it soon ended since I introduced myself shortly. After the introductions, Kakashi then turns serious changing the mood.

~End of Flashback~

He told to come to The Training Fields at 5:00 AM and he told us not be late. We then gathered up, forming a circle, and waited for our sensei who's probably going to be late again.

And so we waited and waited and waited and waited until it was already 9 o'clock in the morning. We heard footsteps from the grass and it was him.

"Good Morning, everyone, I see you're all early!" he greeted us as if he didn't cared for how long we waited for him.

"YOU'RE LATE!!!!!!" Naruto and Sakura shouted in chorus while Sasuke kept quiet and I sweatdrop.

Anyway, we all gathered and the four of us sat on the grass in front of three wood sticks sticking up while Kakashi-sensei stood up.

"Alright, since you're all newly graduated Genins except Minori graduated as a Chuunin, we'll start with a simple drill!" Kakashi said.

"Yey!" Naruto applauded.

"Ok," Sakura agreed.

And I sighed while Sasuke kept silent, silently nodding.

"Alright then here are the rules!" he began and we all went serious then Kakashi-sensei grabbed 2 small bells with a short thread.

"Alright then, first of, you see those 3 woods and these 2 bells, only 1 of you will be tied at the middle wood if he/she didn't get the bells and if that happens then he/she will be punished not to eat his/her lunch!" he said, scaring Naruto because we all didn't ate our breakfast! Well, he told us not to!

"And since there are 4 of you, Minori won't be joining because she's a Chuunin and she'd probably had taken the bells as quick as a flash! So the remaining three will participate and Minori, you may eat now!" he said, making Naruto do a sour face, Sakura sighed and Sasuke just stayed silent.

Then the three of them stood up while I grabbed something to eat. Before they started, Kakashi had to say a few things.

"But remember, it's best to do it with teamwork!" he said while I gulped.

"Ready, Get set!" he counted.

"Start!" and it began.

If Naruto didn't get the bells, I'd probably feel pity on him and share my food with him besides I packed a lot today! Anyway, I wonder who's the fool who's gonna get tied up! I grabbed my food and watched the show!
