Dave's point of view
We had been on the road again, as usual. On a hunt again, with my bro. We had been hunting for years, ever since I was able to walk easily. "You sure you know where it is, bro?" I asked him. We had been driving for what seemed like days. "Of course I know where it is. It's just past this barn. " He said, as we drove past the same barn we had passed an hour ago. I had been counting, and that was the sixth time we had passed that barn. "You're driving us in circles, Dirk." He rolled his eyes. "Maybe that barn just looks similar to the others."
I heard a faint chuckle in the back seat of the car. I turned to see who it was and it was simply empty. ' Great. Now I'm hearing things...' I thought as I turned back around, facing forward. I heard the small laugh again and whipped my head around to see a boy, about my age.
"Who are you, and why are you in my car?" I demanded. He put on an innocent, sad face. "I-I was being chased..." He said, close to tears. "I-I saw your car at the last stop and hopped in, hiding from you and the monster... Please let me stay..." I nudged Dirk for a response. "Should we let him stay?" I say in a hushed voice. He simply shrugs. "Can't do too much harm..."
