Sweet Reality (10)

Jungkook woke up with a horrible hangover, he rolled over on his bed feeling emptiness next to him. Rubbing his eyes to the open them he looked around his room and saw no trace of Jimin making him think that it was just a dream...

Jungkook groaned and punched the pillow that was placed underneath his head, it was random how Jimin had popped up in his mind or to say dream when he barely seemed to come to mind. The though of Jimin made Jungkook wish that the smaller one was still with him.

The door suddenly swung open causing a weird sensation to go through Jungkook's body, the thought of seeing Jimin was still there.

"Goodness gracious you're barely waking up?"

Jungkook's mother spoke causing for the sensation to leave.

"Yeah.."

Jungkook's mother walked in holding a tray that held a soup, a bottle of pills and a glass of water. She places it on his bed to then walk towards the curtains and sliding them open causing an immense burst of light to fill his room.

"Gosh! Please close those, the sun's too bright."

The mother just shook her hair and began to pick up some of his clothes that were spread through the room, she grabbed the last item placing them on his chair.

"Son..what's been happening with you lately or more like recently. You've never acted this way not even with...Jimin."

Jungkook was about to take a spoonful of the soup but placed the spoon back inside the soup staring at it unsure on how to respond. A shift on the bed was felt and a hand was placed on his thigh.

"I'm your mother and I want you to open up to me...please."

Silence filled the room, Jungkook sighed and looked up to his mother while finding the correct words to get a decent sentence out.

"I honestly don't know.. But is me going out and having fun bad?"

His mother chuckled.

"There's nothing wrong with having fun..but what I find weird is that you came home crying then snapped out of that to then tell your father and I to leave you alone so that you could get ready to which I assume was a club. Then you came drunk and with things on your neck."

Jungkook stayed silent and looked at the floor.

"You miss him, don't you?"

With the question his mother asked it was certain she referred to Jimin but the thing was that it was him but it wasn't. There were too many things that made it confusing for Jungkook to understand the reason for which the sudden burst of having a one night stand was caused by.

"Alright...I'll leave you alone. But I'm here if you want to talk sweetie."

Jungkook's mother sat up from his bed and began walking to the door.

"Oh..there's a Taehyung here wanting to talk to you."

She left without saying another word, Jungkook looked at the door confused as to why Taehyung was at his house and how he came to find his house since he'd never given his address to him before.

Jungkook got up from the bed and quickly changed into some sweatpants and a loose t-shirt, walking out of the room he came into view of the blonde one's back facing him as he sat on the couch.

"Taehyung? Why are you?"

Taehyung sat up from the couch and turned around holding a drink holder with three coffees inside the holder.

"I brought you coffee, I'm sure you have an awful hangover due to last night."

Jungkook widened his eyes cause he hadn't tell the blonde one that he had gone clubbing and done a lot of drinking.

"Wait what? How do you know that I have a hangover?"

Taehyung just chuckled.

"I also went out Jungkook and by my surprise I saw you there."

Jungkook remembered that someone seemed familiar but it didn't seem to be Taehyung, so he turned to look at the boy.

"I didn't see you guess I was having too much fun."

Taehyung smiled and nodded his head causing for his hair to bounce.

"Yeah it seemed that you were..."

Then silence filled the room after Taehyung's response so he cut the awkwardness short by handing the bunny boy a coffee cup.

"Grab a coffee! I brought your favorite drink."

Jungkook looked at the drinks and up at Taehyung then proceeded to grab the cup filled with the hot liquid.

"Thanks."

Taehyung smiled and nodded.

"Feel free to sit down."

Jungkook offered the other boy and so they sat down on the couches, Taehyung grabbed his own drink and they both sat silently drinking their coffees.

"Don't even bother on apologizing Taehyung."

Taehyung froze as he was about to take another sip of his drink, he looked up and placed the cup down.

"Why won't you accept my apology?"

"I find no need to."

That was Jungkook's response as he continued on drinking his coffee and a scoff followed his response.

"That's a stupid excuse. Come on! Tell me the actual reason why you won't accept my apology?"

"You seriously need to realize that apologies can't fix everything in this world."

Taehyung just stared at the other one sitting across him.

"I mean I do realize that but like I'm aware that my comments to you weren't appropriate and I want to fix my mistakes."

"Go and fix your mistakes elsewhere or with the girl you're talking to."

Jungkook stood from his seat and glared at Taehyung while he watched him snap.

"Are you seriously going to bring her up? We're barely talking. What's the matter with you Jungkook?"

"Oh my gosh, your making my head hurt again."

Taehyung rolled his eyes and began to get up from the couch.

"I swear I can't talk to you normally anymore. I'm leaving cause clearly it seems that you don't want my presence here anymore."

"I'll get the door for you buddy."

Jungkook walked to the front door and began unlocking it.

"Your jealous, huh?"

Taehyung asked Jungkook as he began to open the door.

"Your jealous that I'm talking to someone that isn't you right?"

Taehyung continued on to question the bunny boy and saw a reaction that somewhat gave away the answer. Jungkook froze and kept his back towards the blonde one unsure of what to do.

"What if I'm jealous? That shouldn't affect you since you only view me as a friend."

Jungkook was right after all since Taehyung had previously stated that he only viewed him as a friend or did the blonde one actually felt that way towards Jungkook...
