The day started off with a heavy thunderstorm causing for people to run from one place to another, trying to escape the rain that fell from the sky.Meanwhile Jungkook was getting ready for work and felt as if his day would be better if he could make a quick stop at the cafe Taehyung worked at.
Fixing his suit while looking at the mirror he tightened his tie up and smiled at himself before leaving the room and saying his goodbyes to his parents.
The ride to the cafe was calming, the sound of the rain hitting the car was relaxing for the boy making him less nervous to meet Taehyung.
Once arriving at the cafe, Jungkook was escorted out the car with an umbrella covering him and walked closely with the chauffeur as they walked into the cafe earning a few stares and whispers from customers already inside. He ignored them letting his chauffeur know to wait in the car and that he would be told when to come back for him.
Taehyung was busy making orders since mornings were their busiest time; he heard a lot of commotion around the building causing him to look up and see Jungkook walking in with a black coat and hair slicked back with a tough looking man.
A smile formed on his lips as soon as he saw the brunette boy and caught Jungkook's attention to which he returned the smile back.
Jungkook stopped at the counter and looked at the blonde boy who was occupied with drinks helping his coworkers out.
"Good morning Tae!"
Taehyung smiled towards the well dressed boy against the counter quickly bringing his attention back onto the coffee machines.
"Good morning sir! How may I serve you today?"
Jungkook chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"Hmm..the usual please."
"Coming right up!"
Taehyung walked away from Jungkook for a bit so that he could call out orders hopefully giving him a chance to catch up from the heavy amount of orders the cafe had received.
People one by one began getting their drinks from the counter as their names were called out making it a bit less hectic, the workers seemed to be all caught up allowing Taehyung to prepare Jungkook's coffee followed with a nice chat with the brunette boy.
By the time Taehyung had finished preparing their drinks, he spotted Jungkook already sitting down who no longer wore a coat exposing a black suit that once was covered by the coat.
He placed the drinks down on the table and sat across Jungkook who once again shared a smile.
"You seem really happy today. Why is that?"
Jungkook smiled even harder and leaned against the table.
"Is there something wrong with me being happy?"
Jungkook joked around while grabbed his coffee and sat up straight.
"I'm just asking Jungkook. Haha!"
Taehyung took the mug to his lips but blew on the hot coffee before taking a sip.
"I just feel that today is going to be a good day! Also I was wondering when you would be free to hang out?"
When Jungkook asked that question he felt his heart between at a rapid speed and his palms getting sweatier making him a bit hot.
"I think I'm free Saturday! We can do something that day!"
"Awesome! I'll pick you up Saturday, when would be a good time to get you?"
Taehyung thought for a bit thinking of when would be a decent time.
"I'd say.... somewhere past 3 or 4."
"Past 4 it is!"
Taehyung smiled.
"Alright! It's set!"
Both men grabbed their coffees and took a drink from their mugs but turned their heads watching the rain continuing on falling.
"I'm going to the restroom. I'll be back!"
Jungkook began to stand up from the chair.
"Okay! I'm going to get something from the back meanwhile!"
Jungkook nodded and made his way towards the restroom to do his business.
****
When returning to the table, Jungkook noticed that Taehyung was still in the back so he went to sit down.
Upon arrival to the table, he had noticed that there was a piece of paper folded neatly in half placed underneath his mug making him wonder if Taehyung had left it for him.
Upon opening the note Jungkook had noticed that it wasn't Taehyung's handwriting making him more curious of who had left it.
The note read...
I watch you from a far
I watch the hurt in your eyes
I watch your happy times
I watch you go through your day
I watch you live your life happilyHow happy are you now?
Jungkook looked around the store feeling a bit uncomfortable; he looked around the cafe trying to find someone who was acting weird/suspicious but everyone seemed focused on their own things.
"I'm back- hey... You okay?"
Taehyung saw the other boy a bit pale as if he had seen a ghost.
"Hmm? Oh! I'm fine! I think I should get going."
Jungkook stood up from his chair placing his coat back on and quickly texted his chauffeur letting him know to get him.
"Oh! Okay..? Are you sure that your okay?"
Taehyung once again asked.
"Y-yeah I'm fine! Just running a bit late!"
Jungkook threw the note onto his coat's pocket trying to hide it from Taehyung causing for him to raise an eyebrow from how weird the brunette boy was acting.
"I'll still pick you up Saturday after 4!"
Jungkook saw his chauffeur inside with an umbrella and began walking away.
"Oh okay.. Bye Jungkook!"
Jungkook just waved and joined his chauffeur who led him inside the car.
Inside the car, Jungkook grabbed the note from his coat's pocket and read the note one more time. The more he read it he felt even more uncomfortable not knowing who had left the note at the table.
Lots of questions bombarded Jungkook's mind trying to understand if the note had been a mistake by someone; if it was meant for him or for Taehyung, and what did the writer mean by if he was happy now.
Jungkook was unsure if he should dig into finding the person who wrote the letter or just let it go.
Overall the possibility of a possible stalker didn't sit right with Jungkook so he had to be careful and aware of his surroundings and the people around him from now on.
