Katniss. Katniss Everdeen, her name spins around in my head each time sending a sharp pain through my heart.

Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire.

Katniss Everdeen, my lover.

Katniss Everdeen, a killer.

Katniss Everdeen.

M y eyes are hazy and I can barely make out the figure in front of me. A woman. A capitol woman. I smile bitterly at her.

"Come to give me more of your poison?" I spit, unable to recognise my own voice amongst the growls.

"No," she laughs lightly, "I've come to update you on Miss Everdeen's movements."

I tense at the mention of her name, and the woman grins.

"I'm afraid, it is not good news." she says, attempting to put on her most concerned voice. I roll my eyes.

"Is she dead?" I ask impatiently.

"No, Mr Mellark, Miss Everdeen is still alive. But...it's your child that is dead. Miss Everdeen killed your son out of rage." She says coldly.

I freeze. "My...my...son?"

"Yes, Mr Mellark, your son." she confirms slowly.

"I have a son?" I ask, my heart racing.

"Had, Mr Mellark. Your son is dead." She corrects.

My mind begins to spin. "NO!" I scream. "I...I...I NEVER HAD A SON!"

"I'm sorry Mr Mellark, you did." Just as she says this a video is projected on the white wall infront of us.

It's me with Ceasar Flickerman, before the Quater Quell.

Our voices are muffled untill I open my mouth and say. "...if it wasn't for the baby."

My heart stops. I did say that!

"Oh my god..." I choke, tears spilling over my eyes. "My...my..."

The woman leaves the room, and my anger boils over.

"COME BACK!" I scream, writhing in my restarints. "COME BACK! LET ME GO! LET ME GO...SO I CAN KILL KATNISS EVERDEEN! LET ME KILL KATNISS EVERDEEN!"
