~ 24th dec, tuesday. 10:36 am ~
just like yesterday, he once again gets ready for another shopping day, he never really liked shopping, but this is making him excited. buying presents for your best friend? hell yeah.
after arriving to the mall, he immediately goes inside, checking stores after stores. after going around for some time, a sock catched his eyes. it was unicorn socks!
"do i really have to come with you?" taichi sighs, he was not in the mood for this.
"yes." shirabu said.
they arrive and shirabu immediately went to a furniture store. taichi only followed him, absolutely confused on what he should do.
'i've never seen shirabu so dedicated to do something.' taichi thought.
"hey shirabu i'm gonna go look for my present, i'll call you when i'm done." taichi said, shirabu nods and they part ways.
taichi's partner was goshiki, and he knew damn well that he's obsessed with kpop. always bragging about his favorite girl and boy groups and literally would not shut up about it. taichi decided it'd be a perfect idea to buy him a bts album, because why not?
on the way, something also catches his eyes. he stopped his movement and turned his head.
"semi-san?"
semi turned around and saw his second year kouhai, "oh, kawanishi."
"good morning, semi-san." taichi replied.
"morning too, why are you here so early?" semi asked.
taichi sighed while rubbing the back of his head, "shirabu made me come with him, i don't even know why." semi laughs.
"that sounds very much like him." he said, "what's he doing here anyways?"
"shopping." taichi replys.
"so are you too?" semi asked, taichi nodded.
"well, continue what you were doing." semi said as he waved and then again, seperated ways.
shirabu was walking through every alley, searching for a snow globe. it's been a couple of minutes, he keeps getting distracted by some other pretty stuff.
while walking, shirabu encounters of what it seems like 6 year old child? she seemed lost and her mother was nowhere to be seen.
the kid starts crying quietly and that made shirabu sigh as he walk over to the young female.
"hey, are you okay? don't cry." shirabu said, crouching while wiping the tears of her face.
"h-have you s-seen my m-mommy..?" the sniffed, some tears still pouring out.
"no but can you explain to me what she looks like?" the girl nodded and began explaining to shirabu her mother's looks and descriptions.
shirabu hasn't seen any woman like that so he stood up and holded the child's hand, "come with me, we'll search for you mom together." shirabu said.
the girl wiped her tears while smiling, "thank you mister!"
walking through the store, with an unknown child holding your hand that lost their mother while searching for a snow globe. shirabu sighed heavily, just how can this day get any worse.
while walking, the girl stopped for a second. shirabu looks at her, "what's wrong?" he ask.
"these fans are cute!" she giggled while pointing to a shelf of unicorn fans.
shirabu went to check it out and he's got to be honest, it was actually cute. not like he's watched my little pony when he was younger.
"do you want them?" shirabu asked, the girl nodded and took one.
"i'll ask mommy to buy me this!" she grinned.
after quite a while, an unfamiliar women's voice started calling out a child's name, "amai! where are you?" the voice called.
the girl, supposedly named amai, turned around and dragged shirabu by his hand, damn this girl's strong.
"mommy!" amai let go of shirabu's hand while going to hug her mother.
"where have you been? you had me so worried!" the mother said while looking up to shirabu.
"mommy this mister helped me find you and kept me safe!" the child grins grew bigger, shirabu was surprised by her words.
"thank you so much young man." the lady thanked you while bowing.
"n-no! it's absolutely fine!" shirabu said with a tiny smile, the lady smiled back.
"let's go now amai. have a nice day, young man." the lady said while walking away.
shirabu sighed of relief, finally. now back to his main mission, snow globes. he turns his head to his right and there he found it!
"finally." he groans as he looked at them, choosing which ones to buy.
he found one that he liked, and assumed that semi will also like. he took it and went straight to the cashier.
after buying it, shirabu was not having anymore and he was tired as fuck. he quickly grabbed his phone and texted taichi.
shirabu 🤩🙏
are you done yet????
and in an instant, taichi immediately answered.

yea, where do you wanna meet?

after all that stuff and both of them finally arriving to their dorms, shirabu immediately jumped on his bed.
"oh by the way i met semi-san while shopping." taichi said dropping his stuff and taking off his shoes.
shirabu only hums and quickly fell asleep. speaking of semi, he also just got back and got them matching socks.
on taichi, well, a bts love yourself; tear album, since it was probably goshiki's favorite since he always listened to it and wouldn't stop singing to fake love.
welp, and that's on shopping for you.
