chapter 10 - christmas

~ 25th dec, wednesday. 8:12 am ~

"eita-kun, eita-kun, eita-kuuun!!! eitaaaaa-kunnn!!! wake uppp!! it's christmas!! look at the snowss!!" tendou excitedly yells at the sleeping male.

"mhm.. shut up satori! i'm tryna fucking sleep!" semi groaned, turning his back from tendou.

"it's christmas! we'll be revealing our presents and secret santa!" tendou said, grabbing his arm, "c'mon, c'mon!" semi groaned louder as he sat up.

"i'm up, jeez!" semi yelled back at him, his voice raspy because he just woke up.

"get ready, get ready! it's christmas!" tendou said as he skips into the bathroom, probably going to shower or something.

semi looks out the window, beautiful white snowflakes falling and staining their dorm window.

'kenjirou must be happy, since he likes snows.' semi smiled at the thought of shirabu looking out the window while smiling beautifully.

'wait, why am i thinking of him?' he shakes his head, maybe it's because he just woke up.

he yawned as tendou went out of the bathroom, "get ready! i'll head out first." tendou said as he went out.

semi nods and shuffles his hair, getting up and going to the bathroom. he gets ready and wears a gray hoodie and a hazel colored shirt, to be honest, his fashion senses these days are on point. he wore a beanie and some plain black pants.

semi quickly grabbed his present and headed out. of course, fate had them meet again, semi and shirabu.

"ah! didn't see you there, kenjirou. merry christmas!" semi said and smiled at him.

"good morning and merry christmas.." shirabu said and continued,

"eita-senpai.."

semi froze. 'did he just call me by my first name..?' after processing what just happened, a faint blush covered his cheeks as he grinned innocently.

"that's new of you. have you finally decided to start calling me by my actual name?" the male asked.

"no, i just thought it'd be a fun surprise." shirabu smiled a little, seeing this sight of him was very rare. maybe he was in the mood because it's snowing.

"you seem happy today, i like that." semi boldly said, making the other setter blush a bit as he smiled.

"you look good today." shirabu complimented with a tiny smile.

"don't i always?" they both giggle.

they walk together to the gym and surprisingly, everyone was already there. the pair gets inside and sat in a circle.

"who's gonna start?" tendou said, immediately lighting up the mood.

"i'll go first." taichi said.

he took out his present, "this one is for goshiki." taichi said as he pulled out the album.

goshiki's eyes immediately light up as he carefully took it from the olders hands. "wow! t-thank you, s-senpai!!" he said, he'd never been more happy to receive a present.

"you're welcome, merry christmas, goshiki."

"you too, kawanishi-senpai!"

"alright, alright, you go next, goshiki." reon said.

he younger pulled out his present, "this one's for reon-san," goshiki gave them to the older.

"i bought the next volumes for your favorite manga!" goshiki said as the older began unwrapping it.

"thanks, goshiki! merry christmas." he smiled warmly.

"merry christmas." he smiled back.

"i guess it's my turn now." reon said, he took out his present and gave them to yamagata.

"i bought us matching shirts." reon snickered.

yamagata laughed when he saw the shirt, it had "best" "friends" written on both of the shirts.

"thanks bro! merry christmas." he smiled, reon nodded as he smiled back aswell.

"so it's my turn now. i actually got goshiki."

"eh?" the sound was made by goshiki.

"ohh yeah! i had to write double because there wouldn't be enough people." tendou stated and explained.

"hey that's not fair!" semi yelled, the group laughed.

"yay i have double! thank you!" goshiki happily shouted as he was given a candle that smelled hella good.

"i wanna go!" tendou chanted. he took out his present and gave it to ushijima, his loving boyfriend.

"you got me a scarf?" the captain asked.

"yup!" was an answer from the red-head.

"thank you." he smiled a little. "my partner is also you."

"i knew it!" the male said as he was given a red wrapped present with a yellow box on it. the box was small.

tendou opened it and was greeted by a necklace with a 't. satori' letters hanging on it.

his jaw dropped and looked at the captain, "this is awesome! thanks!!!" he said as he put it on, tendou was delighted and genuinely surprised, he wasn't expecting something like this.

"well, i guess it's my turn now." semi said as he turned to his partner and gave him the present.

shirabu unwrapped it and saw, a pair of rainbow socks (y'all see what i did there?) .

"socks?" semi nodded.

"you can have one and i can have one, so it'll be like we're matching just like reon and hayato." semi explained.

shirabu nodded and gave one to semi, he gladly accepts it. "thank you." the both exchange smiles.

"i'm the last one then." shirabu said.

"i'm kinda curious to see what his present is." tendou said.

"he won't let me see it either." taichi stated, shirabu gave him a glare, obviously telling him to shut up.

semi chuckled and opened the box, it was a snow globe with a little boy that looks like shirabu holding a teddy bear.

he smiled, "it's cute. thanks."

"you're.. welcome.."

"woahh! a snow globe?" yamagata gasped.

"cool!" reon and tendou chanted.

semi shaked it and the snow started falling. it was indeed a satisfying view to see, he liked it.

while on the other hand, shirabu was very thankful that he liked it. he went through quite much to get that for him.

after all that, they all went back. semi decided to start packing up because he's going to go home tomorrow.

"aww man! now i'm gonna be all alone!" tendou whined.

"aren't you gonna go visit your family?" semi asked.

"i will, duh!" the red-head replied.

it was such a coincidence when shirabu sent him a message saying that he's also coming home and staying for a bit.

semi wasn't surprised, because his parents were kinda strict. but maybe he'll get the chance to invite him and have a sleepover.
