At first, his father had the kingdom taken away from him by the neighboring Kingdom known as Metuza.
From then on, he had to work his way up the ladder once again by reconstructing his once torn army one by one.
Soon enough, they pledged his allegiance to him and without wasting time, they started with their conquests.
Kingdom after Kingdom, he conquered and at the mere age of twenty four, he had conquered four kingdoms already.
Seeing that the years were going by pretty quickly, he took for himself a beautiful wife the following year.
When he turned thirty years old, he had conquered all the Kingdoms after a terrible war with the former Supreme Grid Ruler.
He then had time to relax with his wife and build a family.
Soon enough, his wife gave birth to a bouncy baby boy who was known as the heir to the throne.
The heir was raised in the loving care of both his parents and was educated the ways of ruling the Grid from a tender age.
As soon as he turned twenty one, his coronation ceremony was held and he was crowned as the new King of Aruza kingdom and the new Supreme Grid Ruler.
But, not everyone was satisfied by the new rule, they weren't even satisfied by the last.
What they wanted, was to take the throne for themselves, to be the supreme ruler, for everyone to be beneath them.
Who other than the King Daniel of Metuza Kingdom could plan such a conspiracy?
He knew that the best way to break it all apart was to break the trust King Erick had for his servants.
So he sent over his trusted butler, who had been working for him ever since he started his reign, to be the royal advisor to the king.
King Erick trusted his royal advisor with his life and treated him as his best friend, a person he confided in.
When he soon figured out that his confidant had been giving out the kingdom's secrets and weaknesses to the enemy, his heart ached from the betrayal.
He knew that his family would now be in danger and the entire kingdom was at the verge of collapsing. Indeed, his enemy had used his brain this time around.
At his daughter's eighth birthday, he let his guard down and that was when the enemy struck.
Thousands of people died on that day, and the ones who made it alive, were severely injured or traumatized. They lost all that was important to them on that fateful day as the Metuzan army destroyed the whole kingdom by bringing down to ashes, the state it was then, a mere shadow of the once beautiful landscape of Aruza.
Once the enemy had killed the entire royal lineage of Aruza kingdom, he took his place as the new Supreme Grid Ruler and ruled with an iron fist.

She slowly stood up on her rickety old bones which seemed to be failing her of late. Once there, she met her son, fatigue oozing from him because of the long day at work he had.
"Grandmama, why did you stop telling us the story? It was getting interesting," when the child complained, the father threw a knowing gaze to his mother. He rubbed his eyes with his fingers out of frustration.
