Chapter 34: Vengeance 2

The castle guards tried the best they could to keep Tatyana away, but she kept on throwing them out of her way with just a wave of her hand. Some were knocked out or some of them had their heads smashed against each other. Since they saw that their feeble attempts weren't helpful, they decided to use weapons, without her knowing. But they were in for a surprise.

"Men! Fire!" The head guard shouted at the top of his lungs and arrows flew towards Tatyana at a remarkable speed. No one would be able to dodge all of those. Almost a hundred guards firing arrows at once? Well that is, no normal person would, but she wasn't normal, was she now? She flapped her wings once and her feathers turned into tiny blades of iron. Bending down on one knee, her wings covered her entire body and the arrows bounced off of the wings and fell down with a clang. All of the guards were thunderstruck. Was there anything they could do to at the very least, get close to her? Seems not. This trick that the fairy councilor taught me did turn out to be useful after all. She thought as she got back up on her two feet and faced the guards who were now defenseless. A smile tugged on her lips, malice filling her eyes.

"My turn." All the arrows beneath her feet, floated on air, as she carried them up with her telekinesis. The guards had now given up and stuck to the motto, every man for himself and God for all. Sadly, they were too slow. She clenched her fists, to provide enough force, and when she released them, the arrows flew and pierced the guards' thighs. All of them fell down, with their legs aching. This was fun while it lasted but, now that I am rid of the obstacles, it is time to go for my main target. A murderous air surrounded her, as she walked the castle corridors, jumping over the limp bodies lying around. But, do not misunderstand, she never killed, only severely injured. Cause she understood that each and every one of those guards, had a family and they were doing nothing other than what they were being paid for. Moans of pain and agony could be heard all around the castle courtyard, from the hopeless guards.

I bet you are wondering right now, where have all the workers gone? Weren't they around the place when it all began? None of them stuck around when they saw how the guards were being thrown around like pieces of paper. Lukas especially, the only one who realized who that paranormal being was, was the most terrified out of all. He had known that girl, worked beside her and had even gone on a date with her! This, was something that he still could not comprehend. Hundreds of questions were stuck in his head, yet all of them had no answer. All of them can be answered by her and right now, she has scared the shit out of me! He thought while running away, along with the rest of the crowd.

Tatyana had now infiltrated the throne room and saw the king standing beside his throne, with his wife seated at the throne beside him. He was currently shouting at a guard in front of him, his face flushed red with anger.

"I said go take the Metuzan spears from the underground factory and arm all the remaining guards with it dammit! Are you deaf or something?" The guard nodded his head and was about to leave the room, when the door in front of him was shut with a loud bang. He felt it in his gut about what it was. She had finally come for the king and thanks to his luck, he was there at the time. He cursed under his breath and stood still like a statue.

"I think that you will do no such thing, with all due respect, your majesty." She said, breaking the silence that surrounded the room while making a mock curtsy. Slowly standing up, she met with the king's eyes and the king trembled, seeing how her eyes were a dark shade of red, filled with murderous intent.

"Kid, don't think that I can't harm you. I own a factory filled with golden metuzan spears that can kill you within a second." He said, regaining his composure. Tatyana looked disinterested in what the king was saying, as she blew her nails and slowly raised her lids, to meet the king's eyes again.
