Queen Marisa felt happy when she saw her son embracing the girl. Maybe they'll end up together. I hope so. Cause I have never seen my son so happy in his life. Oh! There was that time when....the...the aruzian princess was still around. Though Daryl has no memory of such. But she's dead...hopefully. The Queen said while walking away from the window.

Daryl leisurely walked through the castle grounds with his heart soaring. She said she needed me! She said she didn't know how to go on without me! Even though its not an 'I love you too Daryl' but, its close. He suddenly stopped. Dungeon guy was squatting and stupid chef was leaning on a tree. They looked very threatening. Booker's jet black hair and his sharp green eyes looked like they could pierce through ones soul. Luke's blue hair and gRey eyes were not any better. Thinking about this, made Daryl shiver. He quickly regained his composure and cleared his throat to get rid of the awkward silence.

"What are you two doing here? Were you perhaps.....waiting for me?" He asked while raising his eyebrows.
Booker stood up and walked to Daryl. "Yeah we were."
"Then what do you want?" He asked with a cold tone.
"Sheesh your lordship, we do not even get a 'how may I help you?' But instead we get a 'what do you want?' Two words, really. Cold." Lukas said while walking up to him too. Booker cleared his throat and faced Daryl.
"You're in love with Tatyana right?"
"Why ask when you know?" Daryl said while sitting on a log nearby.
"We just wanted to tell you that, you don't need to be wary about us when around Tatyana. We're not interested in her in that way."
Luke stood straight and chuckled.
"Speak for yourself buddy. I'm just waiting for him to fail." Daryl looked at Lukas and shook his head. Didn't expect much from stupid chef. But..

"How can I trust you dungeon guy?" He asked with an untrusting look.
"I have kids and a mother to look after. I don't have time for a girlfriend. Plus, dating tats would be like dating my own sister!" He said with a disgusted look on his face. Daryl nodded his head and stood up ready to leave. He already got to know what he wanted, so why hang around?

"Wait! I'm going to stay around tats though. To remind her of her past. Because we need her. Her people need her."
Daryl looked at the man very confused. Her people? He's a weirdo. Pretty sure he means her family. Anyway, I don't care.
"Sure whatever. Knock yourself out." With that he left with a big smile on his face.

Booker walked into the kitchen along with Lukas. Everyone looked at him. They recognized him from the prince's birthday party. He, on the other hand, was oblivious to the stares he was receiving. He walked right into the private kitchen and saw Tatyana kneading dough. Never in my life, did I think I would live to see the day that Tatyana would cook! She looks like pro though.

"Hi ya!" Tatyana jumped when she heard the voice behind her. She turned around to see Booker waving at her. Luke cleared his throat. "I brought him here cause he said he had something important to tell you." She nodded her head and continued kneading the dough. When Booker was about to say something, somebody burst through the door. Everyone turned their heads to look at who it was.

"Mis Jones, come with me." The king had come to the kitchen! Everyone was in utter shock! The prince, fine. The queen, understandable. But the king?! She took off her apron and followed the king to the corridors.

She took a deep curtsy. "You asked to see me your majesty." She stood up and looked at the king in the eye.
"Yes, I did Miss Jones. Let us go to the castle library." He said while walking away. He had very huge strides and Tatyana struggled to keep up. I barely work these days.

Once in the library, the king sat down on a couch. He showed Tatyana to sit down. "Miss Jones, I am pretty sure you are aware that my son is interested in you." He said while raising his eyebrows.
Tatyana took a seat not understanding what the king was meaning. "Well, yes. Me and him have been very good friends for more than a year now. I'm starting to get worried that I've become too dependant on him."

"So, I guess you wouldn't mind getting married to him. That way, you won't have to worry about him ever leaving you side. Well, unless one of you dies, but that's beside the point." He said matter of factly.

"Marry him?! Your highness you want me to marry your son?!" She said standing up from her seat.
"Well yes! That's exactly what I mean. He had never shown any interest towards another woman. I was even starting to think that he wasn't attracted to women." He said mumbling the last part.

Daryl came into the library carrying the account documents for the kingdom. He looked up to see a shocked Tatyana looking at him and a relaxed father sitting on a chair. He raised his eyebrow. "What's going on?"

"Oh son! We were just talking about you. You remember that little help you asked of me yesterday?" He said while winking at him.

*yesterday***

"Dad, I kind of like Miss Jones and I need your help." The king looked up from the magazine he was reading with a big smile on his face. He walked up to his son and put his arm on his shoulder. "How can I help you son?"
"Well,.."
"Daryl! Daniel! Dinner's ready!" Daryl's mom shouted to them. He told his father that he'll talk to him at a later time.

****
"What did my dad tell you tats?" Cold sweat started trickling on his forehead.
"Oh, nothing but me marrying you. No biggie! Its just a lifetime commitment." She said with a sarcastic tone.

"He was just joking! Hahaha! Oh dad! You're the funniest man I've ever come across!" He said while letting out a nervous laughter. Tatyana looked at him and tried to believe what he was saying. Before she could think more about it, she was pushed out of the library by Daryl. She shrugged her shoulders and decided not to think too much about it. She headed back to the kitchen to knead the hell out of that dough.

"Dad! What the hell! When I said I needed help, I meant teach me how to court a lady! Not to bloody hell tell her straight forward that I wanna marry her! I want her to fall in love with me, not to feel forced into a relationship!" Daryl said while running his hand through his hair. His father just shrugged and walked out of the library like nothing ever happened. Daryl stood there in shock wondering how his father did not take it seriously.
