the following day, sicheng noticed an everlasting smile on yeon's face as she took out the box of chocolate he had given her, that she supposedly thought it was from yuta.
she placed one chocolate in her mouth, cherishing the bitter taste. sicheng turned and quietly smiled, knowing she was seemingly enjoying the chocolate.

he rose from his seat and leaned towards the girl. "yeon."
the girl's cheeks flushed red from their close gap. the sounds of the teacher talking faded away into the hard thumps of her heart.
"when are you going on a date with yuta?"
"tomorrow.."
sicheng smiled, seemingly glad. "that's good, then let's go watch movies after school today."
"s-sure.."

the two sat themselves down, preparing for the movie to start.
"sicheng. i need to go bathroom."
"i'll come with you." as yeon rose from her seat, she barely made her way out from the row. as soon as she stepped out, she stepped on her own shoelace and fell.
"YEON!" sicheng knelt to the ground, assisting her in getting up. "are you okay!?"
yeon rolled her eyes to her foot, noticing a large bruise beginning to form.
"you're so stupid." sicheng said as he noticed her undone shoelace. "i told you not to fall for other people and you literally fall to the ground." sicheng shook his head, mocking the girl's clumsiness.
"you act like a boyfriend, bossy and over protective."
sicheng's eyes met with yeon. for that moment, yeon couldn't look away, way too lost in his eyes or the scenarios she had made up.
