yeon was fixing her hair when sicheng entered her room.
"are you going on the date with yuta later?" he asked, hinting annoyance in his tone. a part of sicheng wished the girl was not to go, leaving him worried in his selfish desires for her. he couldn't bare to see her happy with another guy, when she was the happiness in his eyes.
yeon nodded her head, "that's right." sicheng dropped his body onto her bed and stared at her with endearing eyes.
"c-can you please not go?" yeon immediately turned around at sicheng and furrowed her brows.

sicheng stared at her, widening the whites of his eyes. "yeon.. please don't go.."
"why not?"
as the girl questioned, his palms started sweating profusely. his lips quivered, unable to speak up. "b-because... YOUR FOOT!"
"my foot?" yeon looked down at her foot, noticing the bandage wrapped around her ankle.
"you fell down last time. if you go out, you can hurt yourself again.."
"i won't hurt myself."
sicheng suddenly held onto her hands and furrowed his brows. "without me, you would have bruises all over from all that falling." yeon's cheeks flushed red, unable to unnotice the hints of jealousy.
"sicheng, are you jealous? or just really single, because i have already made plans with yuta."
the conversation between the two halted when they heard a knock at yeon's door.
yuta called out for the girl from the other side. "yeon, i'm here."
yeon looked back at sicheng and nervously rubbed her neck. "yuta is here, so it's better if you leave."
sicheng's hands curled into a fist as he watched yeon open the door for yuta.
"sicheng! you're also here?" yuta exclaimed and approached the younger. he casually wrapped his arms around sicheng's neck, while sicheng let out an uncomfortable smile.
he turned around to glare into yuta's eyes.
"yuta. i want to have a fair competition. loser has to grant the winner's wish." sicheng spoke with determination, leaving yeon and yuta shocked.
"sicheng. this isn't a good time-" before yeon could finish, yuta cuts into her sentence.
