"Harry?"
"Nova, is that you?"
"Yeah, Hi. How's it going?" I asked.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me. How's it going with Malfoy? I'm sorry for reacting so badly." he said over the phone Hogwarts had installed after the war so that muggle students could more easily talk to their families. I hadn't talked to him since we bumped into each other after the trial last week.
"That's okay Harry, I know you two didn't get on much, but he's changed. He's so good to me, Harry. You have to give him a second chance." I said.
"I know, Nova. I'll try." Harry said, albeit hesitantly.
"We're getting married in a few weeks. Your invited of course, as well as Hermione and Ron." I said.
"Wow that's... that's great news. I have to be honest I was worried the whole thing would fail when I first heard about it, but it doesn't seem so." Harry said, hesitance still obvious in his voice. "How's Morgan by the way? Who was she partnered with?"
"She's really happy actually. I've never seen her like this. She was partnered with Blaise Zabini and they're great together." There was silence on the other end for a bit before he spoke up again.
"You've got to be kidding me. Zabini and Malfoy are your partners?" There was a pause. "Does he treat her well. Does Malfoy treat you well?" Harry had already asked about Draco, but I indulged him anyways.
"You have no idea how nice he is, Harry. I really don't know what I would have done if I hadn't been partnered with him. And Morgan and Blaise are so happy together. Blaise really is a nice guy, Harry. He's so funny and compassionate. They're great for one another."
"Malfoy bullied you for years, and Zabini never said or did anything to prevent it. Morgan should know that too." Harry obviously hadn't gotten over them being partnered.
"Draco apologized for that on our first day back before he even knew we were partners and I forgave him. Blaise did the same to Morgan and myself. You have to believe me when I say they've changed." I was getting frustrated at Harry. He was always so difficult to persuade when he believed in something, even if it wasn't true.
"Wow, that must have been a right sight. Didn't know Malfoy was capable of apologizing." I ignored him and instead of arguing, asked what I had called for.
"Anyways, Harry that's not what I was going to ask you about. I was wondering if you could do me a favour?" I was slightly nervous he would refuse, but this was Harry, he was nice to everyone, even if he didn't believe Draco and I were happy.
"Go ahead, what's the favour?"
"Okay, but firstly put your prejudice aside and remember this is my future husband, okay?" I said. Harry grumbled but said he'd try. That was good enough for me.
"Draco's dream job is to be an Auror, but he can't even get into the training because of his past. They wont allow him to try just because he has the Dark Mark. It's not fair, Harry and I was hoping you could just talk to whoever decides and tell them it's unfair treatment. Everyone who wants to try, get's a chance to start in the training, but not Draco. He's not been allowed. His letters are sent back unopened. He's prepared to work really hard and he understands he has to gain peoples trust. Please, Harry, just a small word of reason to whoever is in charge." What I was asking wasn't really unfair. They had denied Draco Auror training when he applied a few weeks prior. No one had ever been denied before. It was unfair. I knew that I was slightly using Harry because he wasn't high up in the system yet, but because he was Harry Potter, they might listen.
