The injured girl bowed before her elders, ichor mixed with a thick black substance dripped from her back and hands. A large horned head lay motionlessly next to her figure, eyes rolled back, mouth coated in black liquid. Apologies fell from her mouth non-stop, her hands balled up, head hung in shame.
" I am not worthy. I can't- I have failed you all. How will I protect Earth-"
"Alessandra." The booming voice echoed throughout the hall. Said girl lifted her head, eyes locking with the seated deities.
A gentle voice rang out drawing the girl's attention, "You did not fail us, child. We have failed you." Alessandra opened her mouth ready to disagree but was stopped by her father.
"Your soul is incomplete, which is why you struggled on defeating Faeus. When you were born The Oracles foresaw of your powers. They claimed that if we did not do something to disguise your soul, you would live a life of pain and fear. Evil beings would stop at nothing to get their hands on you." Alessandra drank in each word, waiting patiently for him to proceed, instead, the rough voice of her uncle spoke out.
"We took advantage of the multiple realms, we created our own and split your soul in half, one was aware of your powers -" Zeus motioned down to Alessandra, " -The other half unaware. Tiresias and Morpheus gifted her with dreams of the future. Your other half is unaware of that power, she is in a realm with very little knowledge of magic and powers such as hers."
The attention turned back to her father, " Your other half is struggling, we planned for this to happen later on, but it seems you both will continue to struggle the longer you are apart."
"How will I find her?"
"You will do nothing. We will take care of reconnecting your soul. After we restore your essence, that realm will merge with this one, since its only purpose was to help hide you." Her father signals for Alessandra to rise, " We won't be able to properly heal your wounds, they will just have to be passed on."
