Want the truth? It hurt. Like hell.
You wanted the truth.
There you have it.
she didn't expect it to be seamless, But holy shit.
Oh.
Maybe the explanation could have been clearer. Let's backtrack.
It was a normal day at Belgrave. As normal as it could get. Daisy Bell sat near the statue, memorizing a new script for her class. Her glasses atop her nose and her iconic black bow tied behind her hair.
Being a musical theatre major was tough, but so worth it.
Each week she either had to memorize a new song, monologue, or even write one of her own.
Her other subjects weren't her strong suit, dont get me wrong but...she truly pushed herself when it came down to it.
But alas, she purged through it, only checking her phone a handful of times to see if she had any emergency texts.
Just as she set her phone back down,
A faint scream could be heard in the distance.
Without a second thought, she set her things down and sprinted to the direction of the sound.
It was a girl, and a guy trying take her bag.
Ok so, cliche but it's true.
Daisy was the Spider-Man in this case scenario and she quickly marched over the guy, punching him square in the side of his face. When he staggered away, she quickly lifted her leg and kicked him where the sun didn't shine.
The man let out a groan before scampering away.
The girl let out a breath and a quick "thank you" to her savior before running the opposite direction.
Daisy thanked god for all those ballroom classes-
The girl shook her head, and pushed her glasses up her nose, letting out a sigh.
She let her shoulders down, turning around to go back to her work when she collided with something.
Someone.
She let out a small yelp and jumped back, ready to kick again.
"Woah! Hey, it's cool it's cool!" The voice calmed her,
She looked up at the person to a tall boy, curly brown hair with matching colored eyes...
"Uh...hi?" Daisy waved slightly, kinda analyzing the figure in front of her. He was tall. That was the first noticeable trait. Then again, it's hard not to notice when she's 5'4 and most people are taller than her.
"Oh!" He shook his head before straightening himself. "I'm Randall, didn't mean to act like a-"
"Creep?"
"Well that's one w-"
"Stalker?"
"Maybe that on-"
"Weirdo?"
"okay!" He laughed, his eyes widening as he rested his hands on her shoulders. "Those work just as good as what I was gonna say."
"What were you going to say?" She tilted her head at him, a smirk playing at her hips.
"Well," he moved his hands to rest them in his hoodie pockets. "I was going to say...Like a super spy?"
Her eyes lit up and a giggle played itself. She reached the back of her hand to cover her mouth as she let out a laugh. He smiled back down at her, fondly.
"Umm, Randall... if that's your idea of a super spy, you'd get kicked from SHIELD pretty damn quick."
Randall laughed, "oh and you would? I'm sure Agent Carpio sounds way cooler than Agent..." he squinted and leaned back, hoping he'd get a name...
"Bell. Daisy Bell." She held her hand out, which he shook. "And I think it does! I think Fury would gladly appreciate my expertise. That is if he'd like a musical theatre major in his midst."
"Oooh." Randal sing-song'd tilting his head. "Musical theatre could always be a form of entertainment in the avengers building!"
"Yes, I'm sure Tony Stark would gladly appreciate my take on 'defying gravity'" she quoted with a laugh.
"Oh yeah ok, you're just jealous that I'm a better superhero than you are!"
"And how would you know that, Agent Carpio?"
"Because I can prove it!"
"Oh don't tell me!" She crossed her arms and grinned. "You're some mutant superhero who just happens to be a part of a secret society?"
"Yeah, actually. That's why I came over here."
Another laugh, "ok I see I see."
"I swear! You just high kicked a guy In the face to help a person in need, that's pretty damn superhero-esque of you." He took a step closer, a smirk on his face. "Now, Agent Daisy Bell...would you like to become a real life superhero?"
And now here she is.
All in her werewolf glory. Pretty fucking cool if she says so.
The hide she bonded with. Cinder.
