Knock!"Go away." Daisys voice sounded through the other side of the door.
Randall leaned against the door, "It's me."
Daisy hid herself away underneath the covers of her bed, trying to calm herself. She wasn't embarrassed per say of what she had just done...just tired. She let out a heavy sigh, as she slid further underneath the covers.
"No." She muffled out, not wanting to talk at the moment.
She rolled her eyes as she heard her door open, and his footsteps nearing. She felt the bed dip as he put his weight on it, lying next to her, above the covers.
"Please?"
"You're impossible."
"You love me."
"Whatever."
Randall perked up as he got an idea, got up from the bed, closing the door, and kicked off his shoes. He walked back, grabbing the comforter and sliding it off her before laying down beside the girl, so he was face to face with Daisy as they hid away in the little fort.
"Hi." He greeted, making out her face in the dim light.
She gave him a small, unenthusiastic smile, "hey."
He opened his arms, "come here." He beckoned, pulling her into his chest.
She rested her head, listening to his heart, "I'm sorry."
"Don't be. This can get overwhelming, I understand." He consoled, holding one of her hands in his.
"It's just," she began with a deep breath. "Drinking has a bad rep in my family, and people make bad decisions when drunk, and I don't like killing people. Especially the innocent, Cinder doesn't either. And now I went off on Lilith and Hamish and that fucking terrifies me."
"How come? They're grown ups they can take it." He asked, twiddling with her fingers.
"I don't know." The Bell girl confessed. "I guess it's because when you grow up in a house like mine it's hard to even get one word out without being judged. Without being looked at like you just kicked a puppy. And...I don't wanna mess it up. I don't wanna mess this," she indicated to their position, "up."
She brought her head up to stare him in the eyes, him reaching out to push her glasses up her nose.
"Hey," He started, giving her a soft smile. "You're not gonna mess anything up, trust me, this," he motioned between them with his pointer. "Is perfect."
A beat.
Another one.
And another.
He leaned forward, "you're perfect."
Thats it.
Daisy Bell leaned forward in the embrace of Randall Carpio and their lips met. He wasted no time to kiss back, bringing his hand to her face and cupping it.
And it was perfect.
It was that simple.
Perfection.
They both smiled into the kiss before pulling away, Randall nuzzling his nose against hers sweetly, eyes fluttered shut as he took her in.
"That was..."
"Wow."
"Yeah."
Randall smirked, "I'm just gonna, excuse me-" he said leaning back down and kissing her again.
Daisy giggled softly against his lips, letting out a yelp as he sat up and pulled her on his lap. She placed her hands on his shoulders, sighing contently.
She pulled away and rested her forehead on his, "I'm sure it's obvious by now but," she began. "I really like you, Randall...a lot."
He smiled, "well, that's great because," he kissed quickly. "I really like you too, Daisy..." he took a moment. "A lot."
She let out a sigh, eyes scanning over to look at her room door, knowing they had to leave soon.
"Hey," he beckoned, lightly grabbing her chin to face her toward him. "Don't worry about them, they'll come to their senses."
Giving him a nod, she pecked his lips one last time before getting out of their position, helping him out as well. He looked down at her, reaching his hand to push her glasses up her face with a chuckle.
"Come on," he grabbed her hand, leading her to the door. "Let's face the evil wolves together." He joked, though by her expression he can tell she wasn't.
