"So you really think jack'll come around?"

"Most definitely, you did, didn't you?"

Daisy and Randall walked through the campus, side by side as they spoke about their most recent alumni.

"Randall, you asked me if I wanted to be a superhero," she spoke a matter of factly, "I wasn't about to pass that up!"

"See!" He stated, "and your a pretty damn good one if I do say so myself!"

"Yeah ok, still waiting for SHIELD to give me that call." She chuckled, pushing her glasses up her nose.

He threw his arm around her shoulder, "are the knights not good enough for you, Agent Bell?"

She brought her head up to look at him, a smile playing on her lips, "the knights are more than enough for me, Agent Carpio." She informed, staring at him fondly.

"Good to know." He replied, grinning softly, "so...how's classes?"

"A pain, per usual!"

" ah, I see I see, the oh-so-hard plays of Shakespeare you must decipher-eth." The boy reenacted, using his hands to emphasize the horrible British voice he put on.

"That is not how that works!" She laughed at his poor Shakespearean words.

"Oh I'm sorry!" He spoke in fake offense. "I'm not the theatre major!"

"No, you're pre-med, thank god!" Daisy joked, "and I'm a musical theatre major, mister! Get it right!"

"Alright, Alright," he lifted his arms in surrender, "take it Easy, don't need you to siren your way of getting me out."

She laughed, "me? Never!"

The two shared a chuckle as they kept walking ahead, silence overwhelming them. They didn't have an exact location, but a walk could do them some good so why not?

Most likely they were to either end up back at the den, or the bar. That's how it usually ended up.

She grabbed his hand that was around her shoulder and twirled herself out of his grasp, pulling him closer to her so now they're face to face.

"Hi." He spoke softly, a small smile tugging at his lips.

"Hi." She replied, staring up at him.

"Miss Bell are you asking me to dance?"

"What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't?"

Randal let out a laugh and bowed his head before looking back up at her, "well there's no music, so I believe you have to be the radio for this one?"

She squinted, "we have our phones for tha-"

"You always say live music is better!" He quipped, using her own words against the girl.

"Touché, Carpio." Daisy joked, putting her arms around his neck. "Any requests?"

"How about b-"

"Randall I swear to god, if you say Baby Shark-"

"Fine!" He gave in, throwing his head back. "Well then, how about..." he stopped to think. "Fly me to the moon?"

"You're such a cliche!" She giggled, shaking her head.

"You asked!"

"And I shall provide!"

And she did. She started off softly singing, the only streams of light coming from the tall lamps on the campus grounds.

'Fly me to the moon'

The two slowly started to sway, small steps, for that was the most they could do without Randall stepping on the poor girls toes.

'Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a, Jupiter and Mars'

Randall twirled her in his arms, smiling as she sung to him.

'In other words, hold my hand

She intertwined their fingers.

'In other words, baby, kiss me'

The two grinned at that bit, swaying together.

Daisy felt as if her heart was about to leap out of her chest, it was filled with so much joy in that moment. She didn't ever want to leave. She just wanted to stay there. With him. Forever.

The next lyrics seemed to get stuck in her throat as she noticed the closeness they shared. It seemed Randall noticed as well, as he let out a little breathy laugh at her sudden realization. The two stared each other in the eyes, Randall subconsciously moving closer, his gaze switching between her eyes and lips.

She slowly began to make her own move, their noses touching. At any moment, one of them could just move a little further. Their lips were brushing, but at any moment. Any given moment. If only they could just-

RING!!!
RING!!!

The sound of Randall's phone going off made the the two jump apart. Randall let out a groan and threw his head back, while Daisy rested her head on his chest, lightly shaking it.

"They can wait." He announced.

"No they can't." She replied, knowing their friends.

"They should."

"I know."

RING!!!
RING!!!

The Carpio boy reached into his pocket, checking to see the caller ID

"It's Hamish."

Of course it was.

Daisy let out a sigh, lifting her head, and stepping away, indicating for him to answer.

The conversation was quick, Randall clearly sounded annoyed, not that he could help it. By the time he hung up, daisy adjusted her glasses and tightened the bow on her head.

"He wants us to meet him and Lilith to get a drink. They're spying on Jack."

"They can't let the poor guy live huh?"

"Literally or Figuratively?"

"Both."

Randall grabbed her hand, and the two were off again, making way to go see the caller. Both thinking the same thought.

Fuck you, Hamish.
