Matthew POV
I walked in the house and- "Oh my gosh!"
The house looked like it had been hit by a child filled hurricane and laid in the middle of it sat my brother and 4 children he had been paid to babysit. They were all curled around Alfred, sleeping in what looked like a blanket fort that fell apart. The tv was on with princess and the frog playing, they all probably fell asleep while watching it.
I knew Alfred should probably clean the mess but I just couldn't let the house stay like this for days. I moved over to the remote, wonder how the slept with the tv so loud and turned it down. I decided to start on the mess by picking the duffel bag throw on the floor and filling it up with toys scattered around the living room as that's where it's seemed they came from. He also picked up a few blankets thrown on the floor and threw them around his shoulder to put up later.
He had picked up about half the toys in the living room when Alfreds phone started ringing. Matthew immediately went to it pressing the volume button, which muted the ring temporarily and hoped that it didn't wake Alfred or the kids, thank god it didn't. He looked at the phone and saw that it said a woman's name. He picked it even though he had no idea who she was, just in case it was important.
"Alfred, I'm coming to get the kids."
"Oh, okay, thank you for letting me know, mam." She sounded confused. Probably because I don't have the voice of her babysitter.
"Who is this?"
"Sorry for confusing you, mam, I'm Alfreds brother. Right now him and your kids are asleep."
"Oh, okay thanks for letting me know. Well, we'll be there soon."
"Okay thank you for letting me know, mam, Goodbye"
"Bye" she hung up and I started to clean until I hear a quiet "who was that?" coming from my brother.
"The kids mom. She says she's coming to get them." I whispered continuing to pick up the rest of the toys on the floor.
