The Devil that can Swim

Saya's Pov

"So everyone sit down, and what i'm about to tell you will explain everything." I said.

It started 18 years ago I was walking around exploring the island when a strange bird flew over the island and dropped a weird fruit that happened to land right in my hands, and at the time I was having fruit cravings and I ate it. Then later that day your father and I decided to go for a swim which we did often luckily he was there to save me from drowning. He took me to the doctor to find out why I couldn't swim anymore the only thing we found out that day was that I was pregnant with you. But your father wasn't as happy he told me that he didn't want kids, and being a pirate on the sea was his life not kids and definitely not a wife. He said that I was just another girl that he could tap that I was just a booty call then he left and I haven't seen him since.

No One's POV

"So you ate a devil fruit while you were pregnant with me so that's how i'm able to do this." Thea said lifting her hands and letting light flow out of her hands.

"Oh I see so your mom ate it but the power went to you and since you were in her growing the side effect went to your mom because she knew how to swim and you were still growing thus no side effect for you." Nami said slamming her hands on the table.

"I don't get it." Luffy said stuffing his face.

"Well anyway its getting late so let me show you to your rooms." Thea said.

Everyone followed Thea.

Thea's POV

"Nami you will be in this room." I said.

"Wow my own room cool." Nami said happily and giddish.

"Robin this is your room." I told Robin.

"Chopper you will be in this room on the other side of Nami." I told him.

"Wow look at all these neat books." Chopper said.

"Now the rest of you follow me upstairs." I said.

I walked to the far end of the hall.

"Luffy here is your room."

"Sanji this is your room."

"Thank you madam mademoiselle." Sanji said bowing then entering his room.

"Usopp your in this room next to Sanji." I told him.

All that's left was Zoro as I was about to tell him his room what happened to be the thing that terrify's me to death the most. Thunder and lightning.

"Ahhh!" I screamed running into the arms of the person behind me. I clutched tightly onto his shirt until my breathing slowed down and I realized who I was clutching onto dear life.

Zoro's POV

Man I don't know whats wrong with me i've been sneaking peeks at Thea theirs just something about her. This tiny 5'2" girl I realized how tiny and fragile she looked. You can't tell walking behind her. She has long black wavy hair with random white streaks in it.

"Zoro this is . . .

BOOM

The sound of thunder crackling across the sky. All of a sudden I feel something squeeze me. I looked down to find Thea breathing rapidly and clutching onto to me tightly her grip is almost as tight as the grip on my swords. I was thinking about getting Chopper but then I heard her breathing calm down. Then I met her teary eyes all I could think of was there the same color of my hair except her color was beautiful.

"S- sorry that came out of nowhere it startled me." she said backing away from me.

"Anyway this is your room i'm in the room across so y-yeah i'm u-um going to get some sleep big day tomorrow." With that she ran into her room and shut the door.

TWO HOURS LATER

Its about midnight when i woke up.

"I have to use the bathroom." Since theirs one in the I don't have to get lost looking for one as I am exiting the bathroom I hear.

BOOM followed by a muffled scream.

Knock Knock

"Its open." Thea said.

"Hey I just wanted to check on you are you okay." I asked walking closer to the bed.

"What me yeah i'm fine never better."

BOOM BOOM

"agh." I say as something attaches to me.

BOOM  BOOM

"Please s-stay for a bit." She said shaking and shivering while holding onto me.

"Umm okay do you want to lay on the bed." I asked without hesitation she nodded her head. I laid her on the bed laying next to her in the process while covering us with covers once she falls asleep I'll slip out and return to my room.

BOOM BOOM

Well there goes my escape plan I thought while looking at the girl who is now straddling me.

"I'm s-s-sorry please sleep with me i'm terrified of thunder." She cried into my shirt.

"Ok I wont go anywhere." I said running my fingers through her hair and rubbing her back with the other hand.

I'm a blushing mess she probably doesn't realize what she said and how it sounded. Soon we both drifted to sleep.
