"Jasey", I called out. Jasey was my dog, I named her after All Time Low's song, Jasey Rae. Jasey came running up to me and jumped into my lap. "Hey Jasey", I cooed, scratching behind her ear. "Adrian", I yelled. My little brother came running up to me. "Did you still want to come with me to work today?" He nodded excitedly. Ever since I told him about Kiana, he thinks he's in love.
"Okay, go get dressed. We've got to leave in like, 15 minutes." He ran to his room and I carried Jasey to the living room. "Oh hey", Addison greeted. I groaned, "What do you want now?" She rolled her eyes and averted her attention back to her phone. "I just wanted to talk."
"I have to go to work, Adrian, come on!" Adrian strutted out of his room, and sent me a smile. His hair was put into a Mohawk and he was wearing a tux from when we went to this fancy restaurant. "Oh my god", I laughed. "What the fuck?"
He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the door. "I'm trying to look good for Kiana. I need to be cute and adorable."
"You're always cute and adorable", I pointed out.

"Adelaide!" Ashton yelled. I groaned and tugged Adrian to his office. "What?" He smiled at Adrian, and then at me. "Is that your brother?" I nodded and Ashton smiled at Adrian again. "Kiana and Luke aren't here yet. I can't believe that they've actually been visiting you every single day."
"Yeah, whatever. I'm gonna go work now."
I left the room and walked to my usual spot. An old lady and a teenager approached me. I scanned their items, bread , milk, CDs, that kind of shit. The boy eyed a girl standing behind them and she glanced at him, winking. "Ew", I muttered. The old lady chuckled and gave me an extra 20 dollars. "Thanks", I mumbled. "Are you Australian?" She asked. I nodded, sending her a small smile.
"Your accent is so cute", she gushed. Well, I didn't know accents could be cute. "Thank you for coming to Target, we'll see you soon", I deadpanned. The boy smirked at me, before handing me a piece of paper. I unfolded it and saw his number sloppily written.
"Here, you take this", I shoved the paper in the girls hand and she sent me a dirty look, quickly unfolding the paper. "Your number?" She asked stupidly. "No you dipshit, it was his number", I pointed the the boy and she sighed dreamily. "Do you need a bag?" She nodded, giving me an extra 10 cents.
"Here, get out of my face", I shoved the bag at her. She walked away, probably going to find that douchebag boy.
"Hello." I looked up and saw an extremely attractive boy. He seemed really familiar, but I couldn't quite make out where I've seen him before. I nodded at him and scanned his items- well item. The only thing he had was a book. "Don't we have English together?" I shrugged, "I don't know, I didn't even know you went to the same school as me."
"Ouch", he joked. "I'm Drew." He extended his hand out and I stared at it, and then at him. "That's cool", I said awkwardly. "Uh, are you going to introduce yourself?"
I laughed loudly, "Yeah, ok. No. Here's your stuff, thanks for coming to Target. Hopefully we don't see you soon." He had a confused expression on his face as he walked away slowly. "So annoying", I groaned. Adrian came bouncing out of the break room and had a huge smile on his face. "Is Kiana almost here yet?" He whined. "We're right here", Luke interrupted. I grabbed Adrian's hand and led him to Kiana. "Hi, Kiana. This is my little brother Adrian. Adrian, this is Kiana." They shook hands and Kiana had a huge smile on her face.
"I have a playmate now, Lukey!" Adrian was slowly turning red and I led them both to the break room. "Okay, you go play now." I walked back to the cash register, noticing that the store didn't have as many customers as it usually did.
