Glimpse

Guren's POV

After Shinya left the office, I almost never saw him again. He was either patrolling or in missions with Kureto. I was aching to see him. I was desperately searching for him everywhere. Even if we did see eachother, it would be in the hallways. Just passing by. But even then he would smile at me like how he always would. But I could see the several emotions behind that smile.

Just a glimpse of you was enough to tangle and untangle the strings of my heart.

It's been two weeks since that rainy night. I still haven't been able to meet Shinya and ask him about the kiss. More importantly about the reason behind his pain. Just as I was going mad with the thoughts of Shinya, I heard a knock. If this person is here to annoy me then they might as well say their last goodbyes because I'm in no mood to be annoyed. "Come in" Guren said annoyingly. "Ah Guren I thought you weren't here cause you took so long to let me in" said Goshi cheerfully. But all that cheerfulness was gone when he saw Guren in very bad mood. "I see you are in your usual bad mood, good good" Goshi said smilingly. "If your here to annoy me then get lost before I slice you" warned Guren. "But I have a message from Lord Shinya" said Goshi. That perked Guren's curiosity. "Lord Shinya has asked us to gather in his office this afternoon" informed Goshi. "What do you mean by us" asked Guren. "You, me, Mito, Sayuri and Shigure. You know the usual crowd" said Goshi nonchalantly. Now Guren was very curious. Why would Shinya ask us to gather at his office. Even if we all meet, it would usually be in my house to play video games and all. But why his office. "Did Shinya say anything about why he wanted us to gather in his office" asked Guren impatiently. "He said he had something important to tell us but didn't say anything about what that something is" informed Goshi. Now that was not like Shinya at all. What's so important that you needed to tell us Shinya. "If your done then leave" Guren said with a heavy sigh. Then Goshi starting blabbering about how he came here despite his work (which he doesn't have) and that I was being ungrateful. Then I gave him the look which is only reserved for him. The look that says 'I am going to kill you if you don't stop talking'. "I'm leaving, leaving" Goshi said while closing the door.

In the afternoon, I went to Shinya's office just like he asked. When I opened the door, everybody had already gathered there. But that idiot Shinya was not still here. After a while, the door opened and he entered. "Sorry guys I am late, Kureto brother wouldn't stop talking" said Shinya as an apology. "Lord Shinya your here finally" Goshi said smilingly. "Lord Shinya what is it that you wanted to tell us?" asked Mito straight to the point. "Ah actually I asked you all to gather here because I have something to announce" said Shinya slowly. Just say it already, I thought. "Kureto brother has asked me to move to Shinjuku" said Shinya. "But why all of a sudden" asked Goshi. "Since there are no Hiragi family member leading there. And as Seishero is useless Kureto has asked me to go there and do his dirty work even though I'm not of Hiragi blood" Shinya explained. "But for how long?" Mito questioned. "Maybe forever" Shinya said smilingly.
