WHO: Chapter 2

STEP 1: Get to know him/Bond with Him.

"Hmm.. It's kinda boring... do you want to play something?" Nott asked Pun who was busy with his phone.

"Play what?" Pun asked looking so disinterested, Nott is about to change that.

"Hmm. How about Sea of Thieves?" with that Puns eyes widened.

"You play that game too?!" Nott laughs, because finally he gained his attention.

"I rock that game!"

"Hah! I think I can play it better!" Pun says finally putting his phone down, full attention to Nott.

"Wanna bet?"

That was the start.

"Hey. I bought this cake for you" Nott shyly handed him the bag.

"This is my favourite! How did you know?!"

"maybe because it's my favourite too" Nott smiles at Pun who looks so excited and happy.

It didn't stop there.

" seriously, stop buying me stuff.. It's like you're my... "

"your what?" 

Pun shakes head, figured Nott will just tease him.

"But seriously, I can't repay you, so please"

"just smile, that's the only thing I'm asking from you"

Pun suddenly feels butterflies in his stomach.

STEP 2: Gain his trust.

"I'm thinking of buying some plants for our room.. I think Robert might like it. Can you help me pick some?"

Pun 's heart pounced in excitement.

Plants... flowers. Are his favourite. his first love in everything...

"Y-yes.. I'll help you."

They went to a flower shop where Pun can 't help but smile the whole time when they were inside. They didn't even have to ask the florist for some help since Pun knows the plants in every single detail.

They ended up buying a lot of plants for their room and for Robert, Nott's goldfish. Everything feels amazing for Nott. Everything felt natural with Pun. They smile, bicker and he can feel that Pun is actually getting comfortable with him.

"I'm so happy today. Thank you for taking to that flower shop. It was amazing" Pun smiles as he sat on the edge of the bed beside Nott.

"I remember back in school. you used to talk to plants all the time."

"You said I was weird"

"And cute." Nott added.

"h-huh?"

"I remembered telling you that. You look weird but you're kinda cute. Those were my exact word" Nott explains.

"y-yeah...I remember"

They sat there for a while without saying anything, just waiting for each other to say something first. They both did not know why it felt so awkward considering they were so comfortable with each other before.

Pun glance at Nott, and finally breaks the silence. "I know you're probably wondering why I left home."

".... I am. But I understand if you can 't tell me. It's not like you trust me just yet so." Nott replies, and Pun actually felt happy that Nott knows his limits.
