Chapter 6 - Subject 8796

Adrian hears footsteps getting even closer to him. He stops breathing.
- "Maybe he is in this room" - The guard says as they both start walking toward the desk Adrian was hiding in. They get closer, and closer, and then...
- "We found him. Mr. Adrian, you NEED to come with us - NOW!"- The guard shouts while Adrain just looks at his empty eyes.
- "Alright, I am coming." -  Adrian said, pretending to be as emotionless as they were.
As Adrian got up and started walking out of the room he noticed in what bad shape this part of the ship was. Wires hanging from the walls and ceiling. Panels forcefully removed from walls exposing chips and various control devices Adrain could not name. Every screen in the hallways had the same message on them: EMERGENCY MODE ON. ONLY EMERGENCY POWER AND SYSTEMS AVAILABLE! Even the airlock doors were blown off exposing the second pair of doors on the other side. As they walked further away, the more of the original ship he could comprehend. They stopped at the door labeled - Main Bridge. The guards swiped their cards and the doors opened. Adrian was getting worried and started breathing in a pattern like when he was in the simulation.

- "Permission to come onboard" - said one of the guards
- "Permission granted" - said the captain
- "Mr. Adrian, it seems that we meet again. So would you care to explain how you took out a whole part of the ship?!?"- says the captain, emotionlessly
-"I...did not, sir. I was going through my test when suddenly everything around me disappeared and I was just falling endlessly. "- Adrian answered, being sure that he had said the right thing
- "Really, well then why did the moment you entered the bathroom, the only room not monitored with cameras, the whole simulation just started glitching. We have reviewed energy reports from the rooms sensors and your watch and who would have thought, they match. Meaning that you were the one who broke the simulation."- he said while looking at the huge window into space
- " I, it must be some kind of mistake si-"-he cuts Adrain off
- "No Mr. Adrian, you have had your time to prove to me that you are not the anomaly -  but you are. And you kno-"- Adrian cuts him off
- "I will prove it, just give me anything to do and I will do it!"- Adrian says, scared
- "Really?! Fine, bring subject 8796"-he says to the guards -"You stay here."
Adrain gets really scared, he starts imagining all the things they will make him do. After a couple of minutes. After a few minutes, they bring a girl into the room. Adrian's heart starts beating fast.

- "She is the most beautiful thing ever..."- he thinks, blushed
The girl had blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes, her figure was perfect almost like she was athletic...
- "Alright Mr. Adrian, you see subject 8796 is well... another anomaly, she can feel nad we keep her locked in her room because we are not allowed to kill women! So, you will do it for us. It is not a crime if you do it."- says the captain
When the captain finishes the sentence he hands Adrian a gun with one bullet. Adrian's heart starts beating so fast, he starts hyperventilating. He looks around.
- "Think Adrian think" - he says to himself, breathing faster each second.
- "I got it" - he says again, to himself - "If I shoot the bullet at the guard who is guarding the door and quickly take subject 8796's hand we can escape, I just need to aim the shot."
- "C'mon Mr. Adrian, we don't have all day"-said the Captain
- "Alright, I will do it!"-as Adrain said that he signaled the girl with a blink, and she signaled back
Adrian aims the gun right into the girl's head, and she starts acting scared even crying at one point.
- "DO IT ADRIAN"- said the captain, yelling.

Adrian takes a deep breath and quickly shoots the guard, takes the girls hand and runs away
- "You little prick, go get them now you idiots"- he hears the captain say behind him
Adrain and the girl were running faster than ever. Adrian was starting to lose stamina, so was she. But then he realized something, something that was fueling him to go on - she was holding his hand, tightly. They were running until they can to the end of the hallway. They looked at each other, helpless. The guards were coming closer.
