Five Senses

Chapter 8 - His Story

- "Adrian, it's me...can you recognize my voice. Do you remember me?"- Adrian heard a strange voice and immediately woke up in the strange little room.
-"Hello is anyone there?" - He said and turned around to see the sofa -"Oh no" - She wasn't laying there anymore. The girl who saved Adrian's life was gone.
-"Adrian....c'mon, you must remember me." - said the voice again, this time in a more serious tone.
Adrian moved towards the door, leaning on it. He put his ear on the door and once he was sure that no one was there, he slowly opened it. Adrian walked through the hallway and opened the secret hatch which led him back to the rest of the ship. But something was wrong.
-"Hello, is anyone there?" - Adrian asked but there was no answer.
The whole situation was weird. The steps everyone took and the guard's tasers were not heard anymore. The hundreds of people each walking in their on direction not feeling anything were gone. All that was on the ship was him, and -
-"ADRIAN, you must remember what happened!" - said the strange voice, shouting
-" Whoever you are, whatever you have done to my friends, stop it!" - Adrian said, knowing that it wouldn't help him much.

Someone appeared at the end of the hallway. A black figure, with a familiar shape. It was looking at Adrian, waiting for him to come closer. Adrian slowly approached the figure. Only to be greeted by something that he did not want to remember. His mother.
-"Adrian, you must remember what happaned!" - she said
As soon as she said that everything around them started shaking. The shaking got more violent until it didn't stop. They weren't in the hallway anymore.
-"You will now face what happaned. In 20 seconds the simulation will start and you will see what happaned on your birth day." - she said
-"NO NO, I- I odn't wnat to no"-he said and stated panicing.
But it was too late, the simulation started going and he was forced to watch.

-"Look at him, he is so beautiful" - she said, smiling
-"This is a miracle" - said Mrs. locket who was standing next to the baby.
-"He is going to crash this place down, and I know it, he is my special boy"- said Adrian's mother
It seemed like everyone was happy, but it didn't last long. Soon they heard loud banging on the door.
-"Room check!"- said a male voice
-"The guards are here! We have to hide him!" - said Adrian's mother
They hurried to the table at the end of the room and moved it, revealing a hidden trapdoor. Mrs. Locket Opens it and puts Adrian inside.
-"Be quiet my boy, you will forever be my special little star, here take this" - as Adrian's mother says that she gives him a teddy bear.
The hurry to their room door and open it.
-"Alright, we just came to do a contraband check. Please stay here while we preform it."- said the other guard.
Mrs. Locket held Adrain's mother's hand and quietly said: "Nothing will happen to him Susan, eveyth-" - She gets cutoff by a sound of crying.
- "Where is that sound coming from?" - asked one of the guards - "Over here!" - said the other one
They opened the trapdoor and took crying Adrian out of it.
- "Mam, you are under arrest for breaking the exodus law!" -said one of the guards
-" No, please, mey baby boy listen to me you will forever be special - " - she says, right before one of the guards shocks her.
-"Take the other lady as well and perform a brain scan to see if she was involved." - said the other guard.
-"I will radio the commander."
-"Hello, commander? Yes we have found - a baby. What do we do with it? Yes, yes I understand"
The guard takes Adrian and leaves the room.
Then everything goes black and Susan appears again.

- "I know it's hard to remember, but the more you remember, the better you will live." - said Susan
Adrian was in complete shock, crying.
-"There is one more thing you have to face, after this you will ake up from your dream." - she says and dissapears soon.

Adrian found himself looking at the ships air lock from the inside. The air lock was a set of to doors which led to one room. Basicly, there was a door, a small room, and then another door on the other side. If someone were to open the other door whatever was inside the room would be sucked into space.
Adrian heard footsteps, then two guards appeared holding Susan and bringing her to the airlock. 
-"Mrs. Susan, for breaking the exodus law, you have been sentenced to be floated" - said the taler guard
The other, shorther guard, went twoard the control pannel and opened the first airlock door.
-" Put her in" - he said, and so the taller guard did
He carried Susan into the airlock, and then exited it. The shorter guard closed the door. She was standing in the middle of the room looking at them.
-"Take care of my boy..." - she said, but they looked like they didn't hear what she said.
-"Do it!"- said the taller guard.
The shorter guard pushes a button, and the other set of doors open sucking Susan out into space, frezzing and suffocating her at the same time.
The guards dissapeared and everything became black. Adrian was crying in shock.
-"I FACED IT, I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY!"- he said yelling, and soon fell uncnsius.
