"I'm gay."
Kawashita's confession left everyone, except for yourself, completely speechless.
"Well, con-freaking-grats dude!" Masa happily shouts and throws his arm around his teammate, giving him a noogie.
"You're really brave, I'm happy for you." Suga finally decides to say, despite being extremely shocked on the inside.
"R-Really? You guys are okay with it?" Kawashita surprisingly asks.
You look at two boys who greatly impact your life, proud to see them so accepting with this beautiful and sudden confession. It warmed your heart, especially knowing Kawashita's true feelings for a certain someone.
"Hell yeah. C'mon man, let's get a drink." Masa encourages.
"We're still in school!" Kawashita tries to refuse, but his longtime crush drags him away without arguing. This left you and Suga standing in the hall.
"Well, that was surprising." Suga awkwardly laughs. You slightly smiled and began to leave, but just as you turned around he grabbed onto your arm. "H-Hey Y/N. Wanna hangout after class?"
You looked at his hopeful eyes, something about them seemed off. The biggest part of your day had just ended, so it's not like you did have any plans.
"No."
Leaving him in the hallway, you begin to walk to your next class. Your stomach longing for some proper food.
Since Masa had left for important reasons, you began to prepare for a boring rest of the school day. Of course, you could've accepted Suga's request, but ever since the party, you had a vague memory of something going wrong between you and him.
"One new voicemail."
You hear your phone say, the moment you open it.
Hm? Why is this message 3 days old....I must've missed it then.
Pressing the device to your ear, you take a bite of your sandwich and begin to play it. Immediately, it all started off silent, then you hear his voice.
"Hey Y/N. You'll see this tomorrow, but shoot me a text when you do so I know you're safe and well. Um, Friday was a bit chaotic, I'm sorry you got dragged into that. By the way, I know you might not be interested but...I have a match coming up soon, that is if we even qualify, and it'd be cool if you came. Again, it's fine if you don't want to, I-I guess it's weird of me to suggest this in the first place. But um,..yeah that's all. Glad I got to help you home before anything else happened at that party, even though that whole scenario in front of your house was a bit- never mind. I'll forward you the info for the game to see if you can make it. That's all, goodnight and drink lots of water when you wake up. Bye."
