Chapter 7&8

Quick note I will be going by game mechanics so level 100 is the highest they can go.

All level 100 Pokémon will be retired this goes for all trainers my Ocs included.  However, Since Ronald is so lazy it will take him years to finally retire all o his team.  Ash however will have Retired Pokémon.

A couple of weeks after the battle with Brock

Ronald, could not believe what had gone wrong.  As he was walking, he did not notice two Pokémon training above him.  Charmander just hung his head as he looked up and watched the two Pokemon sparing.  Soon one of the Pokémon flew down to get a better look.  The Charizard landed with a thud and walked toward them with a strange look in his eyes.

Charmander froze in place as something about the large dragon-like Pokémon felt familiar.  Charizard just raced toward the smaller Pokémon as Ronald rattled his brain.  As he was thinking, another trainer was approaching them.  Hearing the footsteps made Ronald jump.

Ronald quickly raced to his Charmander "no, you cannot have ..." he could not finish as the older trainer recalled his Charizard.  Then he took a breath " ok never mind hey quit looking at Charmander like that do you want to battle?"  Ronald asked.

Charmander looked over at Ronald as if he was crazy this other trainer seemed different from Ronald.

"Sorry thought that I knew Charmander for a moment but for sure if you think it is a good idea" the older boy answered.  "What are the rules?" he asked curious about this.  A green snake-like Pokémon walked toward them and sat down.  He waited for Ronald to answer him.

"One on one I will take on that snake of yours," Ronald said as he pumped his fist.  Charmander stepped up nervously as did the snake only she seemed much calmer.

Her trainer only grinned, as she got ready to face this trainer and his fire type.  "Sweet you are the best Charmander all right you and that snake can go first" he called out.

"Snivy let's use aerial ace" he replied surprised at this.  The grass type jumped up and then dived at her opponent at high speed.  Charmander tried to brace himself only to be knocked out as soon as the flying move hit.  He was returned as the trainer threw Ronald a revive.

"Um thanks" he replied using it on Charmander and then watching as the Charizard came out again.  He then took out his Pokedex "so Charizard is your final evolution huh buddy?  Charmander just nodded as he tried to stay still for Charizard.

"Charizard is that Charmander...." the older trainer began.  Only to get a quick nod from the dragon-like Pokémon made him stop.  "So what will you do now kid?"

He looked at Ronald curious at what his answer would be to the question.

"Are you kidding we are going to challenge Brock to a rematch" he answered.  Charmander started to growl at Ronald then he whacked him with his tail.  The fire type then walked away and glared at his trainer while he shook his head.

He then asked, "Ow what was that for huh Charmander?"

"Did you and your partner become any stronger since then did you train?"  At this Charmander shook, his head and snorted "really he hasn't."  Charmander hung his head "you want to get healed up farther first?'  The fire type tilted his head confused at what did he mean by that?

"Hey what do you mean but are you saying I should quit? "  Ronald growled as he waited for this person to answer his question.  The older trainer just shook his head and held up his arms as he sighed.

"Are you that clueless I mean you should train first before your rematch" the older trained replied. Charmander jumped up and down in excitement at the thought of training and preparing.  "Could take you a while to train up enough to defeat Brock.
