Chapter 11: Another Problem with Meghan

It had been a week since Meghan and her family moved into the house. Nothing had happened with Meghan lately and Brittany hoped maybe she had given up.

When Brittany woke up she felt hungry. She got out of bed and walked to the kitchen. She suddenly stopped, terrified when she heard "But Colten aren't you dating Brittany"

It was Meghan.

"Colten's cheating on me!?!" Brittany thought but she decided to not jump to conclusions too soon.

When she peeked through the kitchen she saw Meghan wearing a bright green shirt and black skinny jeans. And like usual her face was covered in makeup.
But she didn't see Colten.

Meghan put on a hat that was Colten's and said in a deep voice "I do but I love you Meghan."

Brittany giggled and realized that Meghan was pretending to be Colten

Suddenly she felt a hand slip around her waist. Fireworks shot up her body and she knew without even looking it was Colten. She leaned into him and he kissed her head lightly. Meghan continued to pretend to be Colten.

"Kiss me Meghan" Meghan said in her Colten voice.

Colten smirked. Brittany couldn't hold it in. She started bursting out laughing.

Meghan whipped around and blushed.

"What was that?" Colten asked as he laughed.

"It was just, um" Meghan stuttered, "um it was me acting out the future."

"You wish" Brittany said.

Meghan opened her mouth to snap back a response but she was I interrupted when Colten kissed Brittany.

It was awkward because Brittany couldn't move her right arm, which was broken.

"You can kiss her now" Meghan hissed at Colten "But soon you'll be kissing me."

Brittany started to pull away from the kiss so she could snap something at Meghan but Colten pulled her closer.

Meghan walked out of the kitchen mumbling under her breath.

They pulled away and started laughing.

"We showed her" Colten shouted.

"She still won't give up" Brittany informed.

Colten nodded and replied "I know."

"Can you get me a bowl of cereal" Brittany asked as she nodded towards her broken arm.

"Sure thing, sugar buns." Colten replied smirking.

"Don't call me that" Brittany said as she tried to fight away a smile.

"Okay sweetie pie" Colten spoke.

"You're like a three year old" Brittany said as she decided to let the smile she was fighting stay on her face.

Colten laughed and poured her cereal.

Later that day Meghan walked into the living room where Colten and Brittany were sitting. They hadn't seen her at all since the morning. She pushed her way on the couch between Colten and Brittany.

"You're pathetic" Brittany said.

"Well you're a hot mess" Meghan spat.

"You're right about the hot part but not the mess" Colten added.

Meghan snorted and got up and left.

"She is one odd girl" Colten said.

"Yeah she is" Brittany agreed.

Brittany rested her head on Colten's lap and fell asleep.
