The day had just finished, everyone was getting ready to head out for the day. You on the other hand, didn't have any plans. Mainly because you were just gonna sit around do what you usually do.

That was your everyday routine, and you enjoyed it.

You sat down close to a random patch of flowers, and looked at them. They were pretty, like roses. You grabbed one and sniffed it, it smelt beautiful, like bubblegum almost. Weird. But pretty much the whole planet was messed up, so it was probably normal.

You sat in the patch, looking at the others. You felt a connection with them. Some were blue, red, purple, green, yellow, heck! even black and white! The whole rainbow as a bouquet!

You wondered who would enjoy these as much as you.

They started to attach to you. Like they were your favourite kind of flower.

It was the next day, and the team who lost last challenge was up for elimination. You couldn't help but notice Four acting stranger, they kept on rubbing their neck and chest area, as if there was a sudden pain in those spots. You just ignored their sudden actions and went on with your day.

It was finally the end of Cake At Stake, or whatever they called it.

Four was gonna announce the challenge, before being interrupted by a fellow contestant. They growled and was preparing for a screech. Before midway, they started to wheeze and gag, as if something was clogging their throat.

"Four? Four?!! Say something!!" X quickly ran over to the wheezy host, Four's eyes were filling with tears. Until they finally choked out something.

A flower petal...

Everyone was shocked, some were trying to help Four out, some did nothing, and some even started gagging themselves.

You just stood there, trying to figure out what was happening.

Four literally coughing up petals, this had to be some sort of disease. But what was it?! Your head was filling up with what just happened.

Four's sudden muscle pain, their coughing and wheezes, and coughing up those petals.

It was like something was telling them something's up. But with who? Or what?

You jumped back into reality to hear those gags and coughs. They sounded horrible, especially with Four's screechy voice. You noticed more petals, and even a whole flower. It was the same exact one as you saw yesterday. Its exactly the same.

"We need someone who can actually help us, like GB or TB! But they're on TPOT!!" X exclaimed, blood on their palms, Four's blood.

Four was coughing up blood into X's hand, their whole hand was a bloody mess.

"C'mon, Four. We should get you to a place to relax." Some of the contestants picked their host up. You walked towards them.

"I should keep them safe, they are our host after all..." You picked them up, they were only half the size of you, so they were pretty easy to carry. You looked down to them, and saw that their Yellow eyes were locked onto your E/C eyes.

This causes them to cough up more blood and flowers. They were whimpering too. You felt bad, you could see the pain from just looking at them. Who knew it could get worse instantly.

You walked towards something, but not knowing at all where you're going at all. You just went wherever the best spot was.

Once you got to an empty field, you gently placed Four on the soft grass, their squishy skin pressed against the soil underneath the green layer.

You sat next to them, it was awkward and embarrassing.

Your cheeks rose a bit, you knew that you were already crushing on them, but you didn't know if they felt the same way.

"hey... Four? You okay?" You looked towards them, who seemed to be staring at the sky, probably in the E.X.I.T.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. I guess." They grumbled, their screechy voice was slow and steady.

"Alright well, uhh... This is kinda awkward but..." You suddenly give them a small peck on their numb, causing them to blush a lot.

"Y/N... why did you do that? Was it because..." Their cheeks were like a blueberry, purple. You just nodded a bit.

"Yeah, I guess you could say I was crushing on you a bit. Sorry about that." You looked down to them, who has flowers growing on them, bleeding from the roots.

"You really mean it?"

"W-well, now that you mention it... Y-yeah, I guess." You blushed more, then noticed Four was slightly adjusting their position.

"Wow. Can't believe you would say such a thing to someone, especially an alien." They were smirking a bit, causing you to growl.

"Shut it, Blueberry! At least I have feelings for something like you!" You snapped a bit, Four just giggled and started poking your cheek.

"You're blushing!!" They giggled more, they seemed to have stopped gagging and coughing.

"Well looks like someone's back to normal."

"Y/N, shut up!" Four screeched a bit, their attitude was back to normal.

"Yeah yeah, let's just get back to the others before we get caught here by some inhabitor."

You quickly grabbed their hand and dragged them, "Alright then, since you're gonna drag me like that, then I won't move."

"Fine."

Eww cringe

I only rushed because it's 2 am and I have school again
