chapter 3

Marnie and I were running to school after sleeping in late. As we were running she was scolding me and her morpoke

Marnie: I told we didn't have time to eat!

Me: I was hungry.

Marnie: you could've eaten it while we were running but no you had to sit down and eat!

Me: it's hard eating and running at the same time.

Marnie: let's just hurry.

When we get to the gates of the school the others broke party popers in our face.

Me: woah!

Marnie: well ain't that surprising.

Me: hey is ash here yet?

Mallow: no we're still waiting for him.

Marnie: what's up with the party popers?

Lana: it's a tradition we do.

Sophocles: now who's ready for a battle!?

Ash: A battle can i join!

Mallow: of course.

I let out inteleon as Marnie looks at morpeko and as ash asks Pikachu. Ash sweat drops when he sees a the balloons.

Ash: I thought it was going to be a pokemon battle.

Mallow: the first one to pop all the balloons wins!

I look at Marnie who is standing next to me and smile as she looks at me and does a small smile.

Me: let's see who wins out of this "battle" Marnie.

Marnie: it's gotta be me.

Mallow: ok start!

Ash: Pikachu use thunderbolt!

Marnie: morpoke use shadow ball.

Me: inteleon use snipe shot.

All the pokemon do there moves but ash move went to Sophocles togedemaru. Morpoke popped the middle and top balloons with its shadow ball. Inteleon pops the most of the balloons but Sophocles beats all of us.

Me: all right inteleon use hydro cannon!

It powers up the move and fires it destroying the rest of the balloons.

Me: looks like I beat you again Marnie.

Marnie: I'll beat you some day y/n.

Me: I know you will.

Next is a race between the pokemon. Morpoke is second next to Pikachu as inteleon is first then jumps into the water but doesn't move.

Mallow: hey y/n why isn't inteleon moving?

Me: he's going to help morpoke.

Once I finish the sentence morpoke gets into the water inteleon grabs her and swims with morpoke in its arms. Poplio swims up going past inteleon just a bit. The race is over with poplio winning.

Lana: good work poplio.

Me&ash: poplio sure is fast.

Lana: poplio can go 25km in the water.

Mallow: your inteleon was fast as well y/n and he was even carrying morpoke.

Kiawe: it's time for your third challenge.

Marnie and I are neck and neck behind ash and kiawe. The race ended with kiawe winning ash coming second Marnie coming third and me coming last.

Me: that was a good race.

Marnie: yeah and I beat you at something.

Mallow: hey guys I'm the poster girl at my family's restaurant do guys want to eat.

Ash's stomach growls as he looks at Mallow and scratches the back of his neck.

Ash: that be great.

Me: gives us a break from cooking.

We are all up at the classroom eating the lunch mallow prepared for us. Ash starts drooling at the food.

Marnie: this looks nice.

Me: it looks better then any curry I've made.

Mallow: aww thanks guys I even made stuff for the pokemon.

She puts the food down for the pokemon as inteleon grabs some and starts eating it.

Inteleon: *happy pokemon noises*

Me: hahaha he likes it

We all start eating when I feel something behind me.
