(In case any of you poor souls get confused, this is after Syo accepts Hikari's confession. Also, it's the final part :D)
Syo was greeted in morning with excessive clapping. He blinked in confusion as Arisu hooked her arm around his shoulders.
"There's our man!" She looked very proud as she ruffled his hair. "Good job! Wait till Yu-chan hears!"
Syo felt a deeper meaning behind Arisu's smile and knowing look, but his thought process was interrupted by one of his classmates.
"Haa....Sakura Hikari though... You hit a gold mine, boy." Hiroyuki told him. "But then again, she's not the ideal girlfriend, but, you know."
"Hm?" Syo seemed to be a little flustered and he looked around. "Sakura-san still isn't here yet, is she?"
He suddenly noticed the whole class go very quiet, including Arisu.
"What happened?" Syo asked, worried.
"'Sakura-san'?" Sayua muttered. "That's still what you're calling her?"
"Huh?"
"Why not a little first-name basis here, huh?" Hisano demanded. "Like, Hikari-chan or something?"
"Hi-Hikari-chan?"
"Yes!" Hisano nodded in approval.
Syo stared at the ground and smiled. "But, she really is amazing, isn't she?"
"Hm?"
"It must have been really difficult for her," Syo praised. "It's so noble of her how she hid her feelings...I couldn't tell at all!"
He laughed a little, embarrassed, but the entire class stared at him, deadpan.
"It was blindly obvious to everyone," Arisu said. "You're just denser than a block of wood."
"What?! Really?" Syo looked around at them all.
"Really," Ren nodded, and patted his back solemnly. He looked around. "Anyway, Sakura doesn't seem to be here yet."
"Maybe she's late," Arisu shrugged.
But even when homeroom had started, Hikari still hadn't come to class. The class started muttering as their homeroom teacher, Aioi-sensei, walked in.
"Okay, attendance!" he called, clapping his hands.
"Uh, Sensei! Hikarin isn't here yet!" Arisu said, raising her hand.
"Ah yeah, Sakura..." Aioi-sensei picked up his register. "Yeah, her dad called. He said she came across an accident on her way to schoo–"
There was a loud clatter. "Wait, accident?!" Arisu exclaimed.
Aioi-sensei blinked. "Um, yeah."
"What accident?!" Arisu screamed.
"Uh...well, there was a truck..." Aioi-sensei began, only to be cut off by another clatter, as Isao leapt to his feet as well.
"TRUCK?!!"
"Um, yes." Aioi-sensei was started to get overwhelmed.
"Wait, teach, why are you so calm about this?!"
"Did you know beforehand?!"
"Wait, what exactly happened?"
"Is Sakura okay?"
"Uh..." Aioi-sensei looked around, extremely confused, at the mess that was his class.
But there, in the second last row, Syo hadn't moved from his seat. He was staring at his lap, wide-eyed, thoughts racing in his head. One thought led to another, a muddle of memories, except for one, that stood out profoundly.
