Goodbye Hope

"My room no longer smells like strawberries, disgusting." I walk up to my mother.

"Once upon a time ago, we were happy. We were a family. We had hope." I stood in front of my mother's dead body as her throat was wide open.

"Now you are dead, you've lost hope and-" I paused to poke her nose. "You never killed me." I give her a big smile and left.

As I exited the room I had to step over the body guards, maids, butlers and my step-brother's bodies.

"Y-You-" My step father gasped for air while trying to grab me.

"Should I bring you your wife and children heads? I could cut them off in five seconds and lie them next to you." My tone was empty, as my sprites were broken.

"D-Die you b-bitch." I held a finger up. "Hold on, let's hold a family meeting." I chuckled.

I grab the knife next to him went to my mother. "You're the easiest mom." I continued with the boys and went back to my step father.

"Okay." I say out of breath. "Family meeting! Me first of course. I will be going to Hope's Peak soon, which is exciting." I paused to think what else.

"Oh and you guys were very lucky I didn't kill you myself, as I would torture you each 513 times. Just as you did with me."

"You.. you ungrateful bitch." A gun twitched in his hand. I shrugged my shoulders and put the knife through his hand and he drops the gun.

"What do you think Hope's Peak Academy is like?" He grunted. "Yeah full of amazing people I bet."

"Hey, why don't I cut off your fingers nails or skin you alive? Something nasty." Those blue eyes widened from shock.

"Only if I could trap you somewhere and do those things." My tone darkened.

I take the knife out and repeatedly stab him in the legs. "This is fun right?" He screamed and screamed.

Though they were getting annoying so I thought about ending the family meeting early.

"Any last words?" Once again he coughed up blood. "D-D-Die [N-Name]." I grab the knife and stab him in the head.

"Someday I will, and when that time comes I'll see you four in hell." I left out the front door, leaving the Orion Conglomerate behind forever.

"Good job [Name]!" Her eyes held despair and it made me sick. "Hey don't look at me like that!" Junko grabs my face and pouts.

"You and I, we are the same. Though you are far more interesting [Name]."

Her smile was very pretty despite the blood all over her. I've never seen someone give me a genuine smile.

"I don't think we are." Was all I said. She lets me go and frown again.

"Cheer up, now you can go to school for approximately three months."

My straight face was replaced with a smile. "I'm so happy I can go to school now."

I didn't try to hid my excitement since it was the one thing I've hoped for. Even if in three months it'll be ruined, I still got the chance.

Who would've thought despair would be the reason I can live. I've hoped and hoped for so long.

Now I'll say goodbye to hope forever.
