Ryusei looked at Akane his face just as stale as his was, this was unlike him as his face was usually expressive. He had to risk it all for his brother and his children even he wished there was another way out, but the law was the law.
Ryusei got up from the edge of his bed and walked past Kaito and Akane who watched him as he left before leaving with him but not following him to the living space where Brandon stood near the entrance of a kitchen-like space probably trying to get some more food without permission. Amaya was there eating some apple sauce, she was unable to eat meat for a while after what happened on their last mission...they thought she was gone for good.
Ryusei tapped Brandon's shoulder making him turn his head and slowly turn his body, as he did Amaya just noticed that Brandon was standing there in the first place and it kinda creeped her out.
"We will have to accept your deal. What is your name?" Ryusei said in an orderly manner tightening his tie a bit. Brandon would have asked are you sure if this wasn't entirely for his benefit he didn't know the condition of this crew but he had known about them as a whole and what they do. He had done his research but never expected to be taken by them.
"Brandon. Tell your psychopath that too." He said boldly to his face yet he kept his composure.
"Don't start a ruckus, Brandon." He said "I'm not trying to poison him anymore, please get those quills out of him as well. You are not one of us you are just a visitor." Ryusei went on, Brandon forgot the quills were in him because they weren't, they were still in the wall where he had shot them at yet he still had the puncture wounds that they made on his body thanks to his quirk.
'poison?' Brandon thought being bewildered, he wondered why he was sweating and drooling. He assumed that was the reason now and not that anything else was happening between him and Kaito, they have yet to give him any type of anti-poison.
The backstreets were bustling more than ever especially since the crime that had taken place, the police have been investigating the scene and taking samples of the rocks, they were trying to find out what exactly happened here. The ruins of the building were standing on a toothpick ever since something seemingly went through it, possibly the wanted creature Logan by the concrete dust that laid on his hat, wide, shoulders, and back ever since he was found. People gathered around the scene taking pictures while others took video, even the news was there reporting on what has happened so far and telling of the 'good' news to the people and watching them rejoice happily. They never knew the whole story.
There was a sign of a struggle, the concrete blocks were moved backward as if something were up against them but only slightly. They were bewildered by the evidence, the only thing that could have made marks like that on the ground was Logan since he was so close to the scene but they didn't believe that something like Logan would be the one struggling, they needed more insight, they would interview him as soon as they could. A pair of people came walking down the street one with white hair and one with black hair, they were just walking past the scene but one seemed more interested in what was going on and stopped.
"There is always something happening here, why don't they shut this place down?" One of them said as the other starred intently from afar.
"Looks cool," the other said intently grinning largely as the other starred at them, just as intently. They looked back and the other adverted their eyes, " Is there somethin on my face?" They said with their eyes a bit wide before getting shoved. The other speed-walked off before the other playfully shoved back, they both started to snicker at each other before starting to walk again.
"Arnt you supposed to do something about that?" The black-haired one said as the other scratched the back of their head and groaned.
"Look man I need a break after the last mission..." They shivered a bit which was ironic because of their quirk. The other just shrugged and continued to walk their hands in their pockets.
"What even happened on that mission?" The black-haired one asked making them rub their face in a slow facepalm manner as if she was bothered or annoyed, they had never seemed worried for a friend before and they still didn't seem so now.
"I don't want to talk about it." They answered with a frown before going straight-faced. It seemed as if the other ruined the entire mood with that question.
Some of the police left the scene while others went to the pedestrians on the street to ask them questions, sadly most were completely oblivious of the situation and were just there to update their Instagram/Facebook feed. Two walked up to the pair and politely and stopped them both in their tracks.
"Excuse me, do any of you two know anything about this crime scene?" The officer said the other holding a piece of paper and a mechanical pencil. The white-haired one glanced at the other as they grumbled under their breath, it was muffled as they wore a decorative mask.
"Uh, no. If anything we just found out it existed." The white-haired one said as the other adverted their eyes as if they recognized the officer with the mechanical pencil, but they paid no attention to them.
The officer seemed desperate, most cases weren't as hard to crack like this one was. They opened their mouth before they were called over interrupting his speech they had told them that they have found fingerprints on the side of the building, they examined it before taking out a device and scanning it. The pair decided to leave while they could, the other officer did not stop them. They just wanted to get off their shift. The time was 11:30 am
The only one within the group who respected Brandon at all was Amaya, everyone else was either suspicious or hated him for his shady remarks, all of the chaos has changed them in Amayas opinion. Chieko didn't like that she was even by Brandon trying to talk to him but Brandon didn't understand sign language so he just looked confused at her.
Chieko wasn't exactly protective over Amaya but after Brandon tried to kill Jack he didn't trust him for a minute, if only they truly knew what they did to him this morning. They wouldn't understand. The rest, except for Jack, were congregated in a room discussing the time, place, and day they would start this plan as well as possible possibilities. Just about every single one, Even the stupid ones.
Money and freedom was the goal,But even more, could be lost.
