" where am I" I asked

" you are at the CIA. The medical staff wanted to make sure you where ok and did not need extreme medical care." Erik said.

" thanks for being hear."

He just sits there for a Monet not sure of what to say. His eyes are a soft green of even gray. I don't really know.

" your welcome, you needed it" he replied.

There was a silents for some time.

" my name is Mercy" I finally say to brake the silents.

" love you name, Mercy"

"Nice to meet you"

" same to you Mercy."

" what year is in?"

"1963" what?! It can't be!

" so it has been 20 years." I say trying to process this information.

" excuse me?"

" I was in that prison for 20 years"

He looked shocked " what?!"

" he kidnaped me when I was 5 years old in 1943" I dropped my gaze and started to play with my hands.

" really? How did you survive?"

" I really don't know"

" ok you need to get some rest now, ok?"

" please don't leave me alone, your the first person I trusted In a long time, and did not hurt me."

" ok I will stay" he said to me with a soft smile. I really don't what him to go. I owe this man my life or at least my sanity.

I see the questions in his eyes, but I really don't want to go in to that right now. I close my eyes I give in to the fatigue that claims me.

Mercy seemed to drift off again. Why? Why would someone want to hurt her, a sweet kind and gentle person. She never deserved this. I just sit on the chair reading the news paper.

" Is she ok?" Charles said. I did not know he came in.

" I believe so at least in time she will be"

"Go get some rest." He said.

" no I promise that I will would stay and not leave her" I say trying not to sound exhausted.

" Erik I have it, you are ok to get some rest."

" fine" and I exit, there is no use in fighting it.

I head to my room and start to get ready. The room it is not bad, but it is not brilliant ether. The color most used was badge. I get changed and as soon as my head touches the pillow I am gone.

" go get some rest." I say to Erik. He looks like he is pushing to stay awake.

" no I promised her i would stay with her" now I know he is fighting sleep now.

" Erik I have it, your ok to get some rest." I whisper a silent comment in his mind to obey.

" fine" and he exists and I take his place.

She is so small and frail. I can't help but think of Raven. I look at her what I assume should be brown hair but gray from lack of sun. She is safe. We won't let any one hurt her. Then she starts tensing up. What is going on? I look in to her mind and she had her mind set on something cold and dark. I have Sean this before when I looked in to Erik's mind. Terrors of the past has it ways of creeping up on people. This is why Erik did not what her to be alone. He knows what it is like to go throw this alone. I try to comer her by holding her close and saying things like " it is ok, I am here." And " no one will hurt you".
